Finance Minister Arun Jaitley to present Union Budget for 2015/16 on February 28

The General Budget will be presented on February 28, a Saturday, in the Budget session of Parliament beginning February 23 during which the government will also seek to convert six recent ordinances into legislations.

Parliament will have a special sitting on Saturday, a holiday, for Finance Minister Arun Jaitley to present the Budget which will be preceded by the Economic Survey on February 27 and Railway Budget on February 26.

A total of 66 bills, including nine in the Rajya sabha, are pending in Parliament.

This has to be the defining budget for the Modi government and set the tone for his first term as PM. Markets are racing like crazy in expectations, hope most of them are met. :thumb:
