We need a huge drone force, I am not joking. 500 Medium UCAVS can turn the tide of war. Thats why I love Turkish Bayraktar UCAV. Just see what a few Bayraktars did in Armenia.
And UCAV drones were Bakhtiyar-Tb2. We can still use Rustom-1 for UCAV role.
Comparison between Indian Rustom-1 vs Turkish Bakhtiyar Tb2

I have seen picture of Rustom-1 with twin ATGM launcher. Bakhtiyar TB2(UCAV) is a improved version of Bakhtiyar 1.

Boy this thing gonna be a threat, small cross section, decent weapon payload, send it large number or heck even in mountainous region. Knowing China they'll have massive numbers.
Is there a way to jam a drones signal easily. Something that DRDO should be working or just blast the with more waves likes white noise cancelling audible noise.

Источник рассказал о планах испытаний беспилотника "Охотник" - РИА Новости, 27.12.2020 (ria.ru) Real missiles to be fired later.

"The first launches of missiles from the Hunter UAV are planned for the second half of 2021. We are talking about firing intra-body air-to-air missiles, which were previously used on the Su-57. There are launches on real air targets," the source said.

According to him, tests of "Hunter" with air-to-surface weapons are also planned.
Thus, "Hunter" will become a full-fledged multifunctional machine, which can be used in the variant of the long-range unmanned interceptor fighter.

"Earlier, a source in the defense-industrial complex told RIA Novosti about the series of flights "Hunter" with functional simulators of guided missiles. The manoeuvres were carried out to assess the pairing of on-board equipment of the vehicle with the heads of homing ammunition. The simulators were stripped of the engine and combat part.
The Ministry of Defense officially reported on the first flights of the Hunter drone, during which only its flight qualities and the operation of the main systems were checked.
Designed Sukhoi Design Bureau "Hunter" will be the first heavy drone with strike functions in the Russian army. The device is designed in a "flying wing" scheme using materials that reduce radar visibility.
According to open sources, the UAV has a length of 14 meters, a wingspan of 19 meters, a takeoff weight of 20 tons. The hunter's maximum speed reaches 1,000 kilometers per hour. The first flight took place on August 3 and lasted more than 20 minutes."

Drones Worth ₹ 130 Crore For Army In Deal With Company Of Ex-IITians

New Delhi:

A company formed by three alumni of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT-Bombay) and incubated by the top engineering institute has signed a ₹ 130-crore deal with the Indian Army to make drones. The company, ideaForge Technology, was founded at the IIT-Bombay incubator SINE in 2007 by Ankit Mehta, Rahul Singh and Ashish Bhat.

"Congratulations to SINE and our hearty congratulations to Ankit, Rahul and Ashish. It is worth mentioning that they were bestowed with the Young Alumni Achiever award last year," IIT-Bombay posted on its official Facebook page.

The company in a statement on its website said it will provide the Indian Army an "undisclosed quantities of a high-altitude variant of ideaForge's Switch UAV", short for unmanned aerial vehicle.

Switch UAV is a fixed-wing VTOL (vertical take-off and landing) craft that can be deployed at high-altitude and harsh environment for day and night surveillance. It is man-portable and has the highest time-on-target compared to any other UAV in its class, the company said.
