Top 10 Best Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle

SOURCE : https://defenceview.in/top-10-best-unmanned-combat-aerial-vehicle/

The hostilities in Armenia-Azerbaijan and the active use of attack drones have resumed active discussion of unmanned aerial vehicles’ role in armed conflicts.

UAVs are usually subdivided according to their impact action. There are unmanned aerial vehicles equipped with rocket launchers and other means of engaging the enemy, as well as those that, when a target is detected, turn into a homing warhead, the so-called kamikaze drones.
As a rule, kamikaze drones are smaller in size than attack drones.
The leaders in the development of UAVs – the USA, Israel, Italy, and Turkey – have been identified in the world ranking of the countries that produce combat drones.

So, here is the list of Top 10 Best Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle in the world

10. Bayraktar TB2, Turkey
The world's best shock drones

Turkish strike operational-tactical medium-altitude unmanned aerial vehicle rounded out the top 10.
Bayraktar TB2 with four rockets on suspension can stay aloft for more than 12 hours.

9. MQ-5B Hunter, USA
The world's best shock drones

The multipurpose unmanned aerial vehicle Hunter MQ-5B is capable of carrying a total payload of 200 kg.

The Hunter, equipped with a heavy fuel engine, has a maximum take-off weight of 900 kg and a maximum ceiling of 5.5 thousand meters. The drone can reach a maximum speed of 200 km / h and withstand 21 hours of flight. The larger version is capable of staying aloft for up to 30 hours.

8. CAIG Wing Loong II, China

The world's best shock drones

Chinese reconnaissance and strike unmanned aerial vehicles. Claimed to be a copy of the American MQ-1 Predator and MQ-9 Reaper.

7. MQ-1C Gray Eagle, USA

The world's best shock drones

American reconnaissance and strike UAV manufactured by General Atomics. It can be in the air for 30 hours, armed with 4 missiles or 4 bombs.

6.Yabhon United 40, UAE

The world's best shock drones

Medium-altitude reconnaissance and strike UAV developed in the UAE. It can stay in the air for up to 5 days. Capable of carrying 1030 kg of ammunition.

5. CH-5, China

The world's best shock drones

Chinese medium-altitude reconnaissance and strike UAV. Armament: rockets and aerial bombs 50, 100, and 200 kg. It can stay in the air for 60 hours. CH-5 is a long-duration drone. Its prototype made its maiden flight in August 2015.

4. Predator B (MQ-9 Reaper), USA

The world's best shock drones

The MQ-9 Reaper is a reconnaissance and strike UAV that was created by GAAS.
The MQ-9 Reaper was based on the MQ-1 Predator aircraft. It is equipped with a turboprop engine that allows it to reach tremendous speeds, more than 400 kilometers per hour. The ceiling is 13 thousand meters. The maximum flight duration is 24 hours.

3. MQ-9B SkyGuardian, USA

The world's best shock drones

Reconnaissance and strike UAV developed by GAAS. It can carry up to 4 missiles or GPS-guided bombs. The drone belongs to the medium-altitude class and is developed based on the MQ-9 Reaper, which has been in service with the US Air Force since 2007.

SkyGuardian is capable of staying in the air for up to 35 hours, but so far, it flies rather slowly – the cruising speed at an altitude of 7.5 thousand meters is 388 km / h.

2. Heron TP, Israel

The world's best shock drones

Unmanned reconnaissance aircraft developed by the Israeli company IAI. One such drone can track six targets simultaneously—the best selling Israeli UAV.

The wingspan of the vehicle is 26 m. The ceiling is 13.7 km. Flight duration of 36 hours. It was reported about the possibility of “hanging” in the air at an altitude of 4.5 km over controlled areas and about the prospect of equipping with a refueling system in the air. At a cruising speed of 296 km / h (maximum – 460 km / h), it can fly 14,800 km. Maximum takeoff weight – 4.7 tons. Payload weight can reach 1 ton.

1. Predator C Avenger, USA

The world's best shock drones

An unmanned combat aircraft developed by GAAS in 2009. The maximum take-off weight of the drone is 8.3 tons.

The total carrying capacity of the aircraft is almost 3 tons.

The Predator C Avenger offers higher operational and transit speeds than the Predator B aircraft. Powered by the Pratt and Whitney turbofan engines, the combat drone can reach altitudes up to 15,000 meters. It has a top speed of 740 km / h and an endurance of 20 hours.

You showed MQ-9 Reaper as Avenger.
An avenger looks like this...

IAF is interested to buy 100 of these for 8 Billion dollars, I mean why, why not make cheap drones like CH-4, Bayrakhtar, Shahed-129 that do a job of a UCAV, Americans have money so they literally make unmanned fighter aircrafts in the name of UCAV.

No its not the case, only obstacle restricting the sale was that we were not members of MTCR, now we are and Congress has approved the sale. Plus even I am opposed to it, because we should be making these by now but we aren’t. Our Rustom-II is under development for Decades. Still its in early stages of testing.

Rustom-II is a UAV. No C yet..
It can be armed but still you’re right, we were so dumb to put all efforts on Ghatak UCAV only which is more of a Lightweight type, Avenger drones haven’t been inducted in USAF as it is still in testing with USAF and in a few months they can start getting inducted so we should at least buy some Armed drones from USA because we do need a strong UCAV fleet, but wait, our LCH prototype flew in 2010

and 10 years later no orders, induction is far away. Lol 😂.
