I have heard many Pakistani say through the grapevine that the UAE is troubled by the prospect of Gwadar becoming a Persian Gulf rival to Dubai, hence they have played an active role in the destabilization of the region for a while now. At the same time this irritates neighboring Iran, hence two birds killed with one stone. In fact, the UAE allowed America to use a Sheikh's private hunting airstrip in B'stan to launch drones from, showing the distrust UAE has for Pak establishment.

Now most Paki conspiracies are rambling delusional rants, but this seems to make sense, no? Only laughable part is the idea that Gwadar will ever be the next Dubai :pound:

One must remember that there is an airfield in Baluchistan, Shamsi Air base which is under lease to UAE and the Pakistanis have no say there. US was flying drones from there for a long time.

The UAE royals have paid huge amount and have developed the field. They come for hunting Buzzards who are a protected species. Authorities in Pakistan cannot stop them.

Interestingly the UAE sub leased it to the Americans for using it for the drones.

It seems now the air base has reverted back to the Pakistanis.

Ah they figured out our devious master plan. Good thing they don't know about the last step in the Indian secret plan to get an Indian CEO for Apple, then we will have Google, Microsoft and Apple, and "operation turn off the internet in Pakistan" can begin.

Nothing to do with Gwadar, everything to do with the snub Pakistan gave to the Arabs in Yemen. Modi visit is just securing more FDI.
