We should never let foreign laws affect our purchases- waiver or no waiver. I believe India and Russia are already in negotiations on how to get around the restrictions, especially on banking channels.

True, but China in the present exhibits colonial behaviour, as opposed to anti-colonial. China basically wants subjugation and dependence of other countries, so that China becomes the number one powerful country economically and politically. Or it desires to be the chief oligarch among a group off 5-6 oligarchs. Either way, China's intentions are repellent and not humanistic. They are not trying even in theory, to make the world a better, more free and democratic place. India wants multi-polarity and interdependence of countries. India is anti-oligarchy, and its behaviour displays that, by and large. India would like to see a Philippines, a Tanzania or a Bolivia come up economically and technologically, it would benefit India. Provided of course these countries are democratic and pluralistic. The oligarchs, including China, want them to be dependencies.
