@Azaad is right. With countries having WW2 level capability, drones can easily overwhelm them. Since they have nothing of good quality to take down drones like MANPADS, SAM etc, drones will look good. Syria, Armenia have no major equipment to defend is skies or even its territories. Syria once upon a time did have limited weapons but the proxy wars and internal strife led to those capabilities being destroyed rapidly by 2013-14. As for Armenia, it had nothing of use to fight. For some reason, probably fear of Barak 8, it did not use its Su30s either. A single Su30 could have eliminated all the drones in the sky

armenia has bought su-30 with no weapons (literally) and their cold relations with russia now has forced them to groung the 4 jets they have

STOBAR means lesser runway length. In addition, hardening of the bottom will ensure the payload becomes just 300kg. It will be as good as a drone with such specifications.

Kaan is a distant dream. Writing FBW codes itself takes over a decade. Then the engine, design problems, manufacturing solutions take even more time. All these are linked to one another and one can't make them in parallel (except engine which can be first imported & then substituted)

EO and satellite has been on tb3!! Do not talk with out having a clue. EO is retractable and when this test flight performed, it was retracted!! And satellite has been on tb3 since first flight!!
Do not try to overcome your fails with looking for any thing bad on another countries successes!

Just watch the video. Both tb3 and akıncı UAVs have retractable EO.
Tb3 will have eo retracted during take off and landing on carrier,tcg Anadolu in order to prevent the damage on EO.

Kaan has made second test flight today morning.
It reached an altitude of 10k feet.

The debated elevator displacements at take off in the first flight has been fixed. The bank angle in this flight was higher and it was a much smoother landing. I don't know how many times more they would fly this prototype but I imagine they wouldn't push it too much considering it was only meant as a ground test unit in the beginning.

The engine looses efficiency as it reaches high altitudes secondly without payload any other engine will perform better.. secondly show me video of eo being retracted
