Taxying. It's doing what on the runway ?
TFX, queen of taxiing.TFX TAXIING
Frenchie,i see we have hurt your feelings,i promise you the next time it will fly.TFX, queen of taxiing.
Tejas-MK1A is going to fill the role of 0.5m plug Mk-2. So technically you had the old "0.5m plug Mk-2". Had Parrikar ji not pushed for current Mk-2, our AF would have been planning to import Gripen-E via old SE-MMRCA, & today you would be crying " Why ADA didn't develop a Gripen-E equivalent reee "Lol I just came here for the cope and seethe - but looks like most members have come to acceptance with reality.
Our combat aerospace program has been a slow motion train wreck over the last decade and a half. First delaying to order and manufacture Tejas Mk1 in time, then instead of going for 0.5m plug for Mk2 going in for a comprehensive redesign taking years, in that too put red tape so that we don't get any Mk 2 fighter till 2030 at least.
Navy proposed the joint development of AMCA in the lines of Rafale & F-35 , they proposed to develop N-AMCA first and then derive AF-AMCA from it....IAF shot down that proposalThen goes on to start a completely separate program that's also separate from AMCA.
No one is beating us down ,chillAll these delays and miss steps were of course going to cost us and Rather than catching up with the leaders like US and Europe, we seem to be falling behind with previously 3rd tier countries beating us.
What about Nishant, Panchi & Rustom-1??Have we delivered a drone yet?
India started the work on autonomous aerial drones in the 80s and yet 30-40 years later we still do not have a production variant.
Their drones have wreaked havoc in conflicts and turned the tide in favour of Azerbaijan in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and played a pivotal role in halting Russian advances in the Russia-Ukranian war.
Today we are in such a position that alteast a donze odd countries have overtaken us in drone tech.Heck, even the heavily sanctioned iran has mass produced thousands of combat drones.
Well I can post Sukhoi pic in return...
That drone exist because of Western world support. They are in a good place where they can get Europeans to work for them sell stuff etc.Even u speak about drones
U realize they said Anka 3 will be revealed by mid of 2023 and today its not even mid
Superiority complex will lead to disaster
They can develope things which are not under their expertise in record time imagine when they will gain expertise
I used the word "Production Variant", not Technology Demonstrators or Prototype Vehicles. None of the Drones until now reached the level where they could be mass-produced.What about Nishant, Panchi & Rustom-1??
Rustom-1 has completed taxi trails with ATGM way back in 2012 itself , did our import forces supported it??No....Tapas is in perpetual trails...
don't talk rubbish as if we don't have capability....we have the tech, but not the political will
They reached the said level way back & they were killed for importsI used the word "Production Variant", not Technology Demonstrators or Prototype Vehicles. None of the Drones until now reached the level where they could be mass-produced.
I am not judging the capability of Indian industries or the talent but merely pointing out the fact that defence equipment manufacturing in India is brutally mismanaged, so much so that we even failed at building a proper standard rifle for the Army.
Okay tell us What does Tapas BH1 lack compared to Byrakhter TB2 that it can't be mass produced ??I used the word "Production Variant", not Technology Demonstrators or Prototype Vehicles. None of the Drones until now reached the level where they could be mass-produced.

Bribes.Okay tell us What does Tapas BH1 lack compared to Byrakhter TB2 that it can't be mass produced ??
No it doesnt, our western allies have an embargo(unofficial) on us.That drone exist because of Western world support. They are in a good place where they can get Europeans to work for them sell stuff etc.
Same answer to you,see above.Turkish defence industry has an advantage. They have a better quality as they can get parts and sub-systems made to a higher standards from Europe and US. That NATO membership permits them to buy military hardware subsystem from anywhere in Europe and US.
That advantage will stay with Turkey as long as it has NATO membership. The Chinese, Korean and Indians cannot match that.
170hp , Looks underpowered for carrier operations.Bayraktar TB3 first photos
The drone is counting days for the first flight. It's to be deployed on TCG Anadolu amphibious assault ship, it features foldable wings and is powered by TEI's PD170 engine.

Tapas is already in production. 76 ordered.I used the word "Production Variant", not Technology Demonstrators or Prototype Vehicles. None of the Drones until now reached the level where they could be mass-produced.

Absolutely not...No it doesnt, our western allies have an embargo(unofficial) on us.
They dont sell us sophisticated ''military'' items.
Do some research.
Same answer to you,see above.
‘Why do we have to see Turkish drone photos. India is not buying it. After its initial success in Syria and Ukraine, it has not been heard off at all. That means at least in Ukraine, the Russians have learnt its secrets to shoot it down. Hence, instead of loosing more, they withdrew it.170hp , Looks underpowered for carrier operations.
What kind of role Turkish navy is expecting from this ??
