let hoorjet come then we will see how much feasible tai tfx is.
According to Turkey ,The Turkish Hurjet will make its first flight in last quarter (October, November, December) of 2022. Meaning this year we will see the Hurjet make its 1st flight. By the way, has Turkey selected any engine for Hurjet still?

When I first heard of Turkey's TAI FX program. I thought to myself :

"Is this some kind a joke? A country that has yet to produce even a prototype of any kind of combat aero plane is going to build a 5th generation in 5-6 years and for that paper plane we are supposed to buy the white elephant. Lol , turkey should 1st Operationalise it's own 4th Generation Aircraft which is something that They have never made till date but they are making something called the Hurjet but Hurjet is only on paper even Today and not even a Prototype of it even exists and how can you expect such a country to Operationalise 5th generation Technology Aircrafts? "

Let's see what happens.
BAE is helping Turkey in their 5th gen fighter program. They tweeted on their official Twitter handle.

BAE is helping Turkey in TAI FX? I thought that BAE had pulled out of the Project. Where did BAE tweet this? Please share the tweet.

Thanks for sharing the Tweet. I was originally under the Belief that BAE has backed out of TFX Project but now it is all Clear. Anyways this tweet was made before Pakistan Officially joined TAI-FX program so i want to see a tweet after 23rd and I want to see what BAE has to say since Pakistan is in TF-X now.

Pakistan has joined Turkey's TFX 5th gen fighter program says CEO of Turkish aerospace.

TFX may be service ready by 2027-28 {AMCA could be 2-3 years behind it}, which means India would need a 5th gen fighter (F-35/Su-75) as a stop gap.
Nice !
Maybe they think that to join 2 noobs together will make them specialists...

I had anticipated this a while back that Pakistan will eventually either go ahead with Turkey or China to fullfil it's Requirement for a 5th Generation Fighter Aircraft Because Project AZM was just a myth and nothing else.

Pakistan knows very well that it doesn't have the capacity, Capability, R&D and Money to build 5th generation fighters so they have decided to partnership with Turkey.

It's a move so as not to depend 100% of China.
But Turkey is far from having its own jet.

Turkey is far from making even a Basic 4th generation Trainer/LCA. Can such a Country which doesn't even have the experience of making a basic 4th generation Trainer/LCA actually make a major leap-forward and suddenly start Operationalising 5th Generation Aircrafts? Seems highly unlikely.

Is this news of Pakistan joining TAI-FX program actually true? I mean if it is true than why hasn't Turkish Aerospace tweeted such a big news from Their offical twitter handle?

I don't know why but it seems weird to me. Until we get further Confirmation About this, I will take it only as a "Rumour".

At-most Pakistan will only help in Funding for TAI-FX and maybe Pakistan might Build Some of the Components of the Aircrafts in Pakistan itself but at-most They will do only the paint job.

Pakistan will definitely not contribute in the design of the Aircraft. It will basically be like the FGFA project which was a collaboration Between india and Russia and India backed out of it.

Now what will happen to Pakistan's Project AZM? There are 2 Possibilities which come to my mind:

1)Project AZM will be merged with TAI-FX
2)Or cancelled in favour of TAI-FX
