I initially was not in support of sending troops on afghan soil but now i think we better send them.

With the recent Dokalam stand-off and Cpec project which is being run by 2 rouge states on the land which is legitimately ours,i believe its a must to send soldiers in Afghanistan.

It will help us check chinese influence in check in the central asia and will put pressure on pakistan.I want a military base near khyber pass.

We must become the net security provider in the IOR.Many countries in the south east asia have requested for that.USA is not a reliable ally-they dumped Ukrainians despite the memorandum of Budapest,they did not stop the chinese from expanding in the SCS region,now they have artificial islands in the region.

With more than 60% of our trade passing through SCS and usa being an unreliable ally,we need to step up our efforts to modernize our armed forces(specifically air forces and the underwater submarines).Need to put more effort on domestic arms industry,will save forex and will maintain an undisturbed supply chain of spares for equipment.

As our economic might grows,so should our military might and our influence only then we will be called a global power.

We must have high aims and we need to start,so be it Afghanistan.

One thing i did not mention is that it will help us improve our arms industry in many ways-our soldiers will give inputs to our arms industry,we will be able to sell afghans weapons(maybe as aid).Small arms initially.

Pakistan will go full retard if we enter Afghanistan the problem is Taliban has unlimited resource of man power weapons and shelter in the form of Pakistan. if we enter Afghanistan we will be fighting on Pakistani terms not on ours they will choose time place of their choice to hit us Afghanistan has no basic civil administration guys if we go there we will not only lose our forces but any chance of making Afghanistan stand on its own for at least a decade what we are doing is correct help them in developmental work i don't know weather we have our SF's deployed there if they are its very good strategy.we are working with with Russia, America and to even some extent Iran there. we should increase capabilities by supplying weapons and training army of Afghanistan let afghans decide what they want
