  • More US drone strikes
  • Downgrading of Pak's current status as a "major non-NATO ally"
  • Complete stoppage of USAID to Pakistan

Would US heating up Pak's western borders push more unemployed hadjis to its eastern borders? Discuss.

According to USA

More US drone strikes
Means The NEW US ADMINISTRATION just demonstrated to pakistan that pakistan is still a bitch and TRUMP will use the same means as former POTUS to use pakistan as it deemed fit.

Downgrading of Pak's current status as a "major non-NATO ally"
This actually will help USA sell its f-16s and a few drones to India, as it gives the INDIAN MEDIA the feel that USA is less obliged to help pakistan if India trashes pakistan in the near future.

Complete stoppage of USAID to Pakistan
This is what India has been asking and USA will hold the aid to pakistan for some time till the F-16 and the drone deals get through.
USA is USA is USA is USA. We can expect USA to do the back stabbing any time later.
Well!! what we gained in the interim with no strings attached is the only benefit.

Would US heating up Pak's western borders push more unemployed hadjis to its eastern borders? Discuss
It depends on how much the paki terror factory can keep up with on the ISI demand for terrorist to manage its eastern and western front.
With USA burning the western borders pak wouldnt try to fire up the eastern borders as it would be too much for pakistan and china to handle.

After Trumps declaration of Afghanistan policy and almost calling Pakis a terrorist state and warning the Pakis are trying to do what they always do

They have cancelled Us official meetings that were scheduled and have instead ran to Chini , Saudi Arabia and Turkey to howl about Trump

But this time it appears US is serious. They have penalized Pakistan's Habib Bank in New York . The bank famous for iys money laundering and other nefarious activities will now have to be closed down

The squeeze has started.

New York regulator seeks $630m penalty from Habib Bank
Pakistan’s largest lender challenges DFS over claims of compliance failures

New York’s banking regulator is seeking up to $630m in penalties from Pakistan’s largest bank for “serious deficiencies” in its anti-money laundering programme spanning more than a decade.

The New York Department of Financial Services said a review of Habib Bank’s New York branch found compliance failures that are “serious, persistent and apparently affect the entire Habib banking enterprise”. DFS found 53 alleged violations.

“They indicate a fundamental lack of understanding of the need for a vigorous compliance infrastructure, and the dangerous absence of attention by Habib Bank’s senior management for the state of compliance at the New York branch,” according to a statement of facts DFS sent to Habib.

Habib, which is Pakistan’s largest bank and is majority owned by the government, has indicated its plans to withdraw from New York but the banking regulator is insisting on a hearing next month.

Habib said in a statement that it will “vigorously contest” the fine in US courts, adding that there will be no “material impact on HBL’s business outside of the United States,” according to Reuters. The bank’s chief executive also said, despite HBL’s “sincere and extensive remediation measures, DFS is still not appreciating or recognising the significant progress that HBL has made at its branch in New York,” Reuters reported.

The regulatory scuffle comes amid heightened tension between Islamabad and Washington over the Trump administration’s plan to keep troops in Afghanistan and accusations that Pakistan is harbouring terrorists.

Habib’s run-ins with DFS date back to 2006, when the bank regulator and its predecessor agency found deficiencies in the bank’s compliance programmes. In 2015, a regulatory review found the bank’s compliance function “had deteriorated even further”. As part of a consent agreement Habib agreed to undertake remedial action.

In the statement of facts dated August 24, DFS outlined a list of alleged deficiencies and 53 violations dating back to 2007. DFS recently assigned the bank its lowest possible rating.

Specifically, DFS found that Habib failed to establish controls around its high risk clients, including Al-Rajhi Bank, the largest private bank in Saudi Arabia and one that has been linked in a US Senate report to terrorist financing — claims Al-Rajhi has denied.

Habib also allegedly cleared transactions to a cybercriminal wanted by the US Federal Bureau of Investigation and a Chinese weapons manufacturer that was subject to US sanctions. Since Habib’s New York operations were used to clear dollar denominated transactions the bank is required to follow US “know your customer” rules and sanctions law.

Trump can do nothing only after two days seeing Pakistani reaction USA is trying to mend its ways but now time has gone and we are no longer under USA pressure. And when 100000 USA soldiers failed to do anything 4000 can do not even 1 %
It's good to see Pakis on the forum voicing their opinion. Before anyone replies to you would you be kind enough to enlighten us how old are you. I mean, judging by your reply I guess you are a 12 year old. BTW..do you know the word "Paki" is considered an abuse in U.K.

They successfully achieved their military objectives ...... Now they have many military bases in Afghanistan which can be used against China, Iran & Cis countries.....this is why they do not want to leave Afghanistan :)

Only dumb pakis think that USA was unsuccessful......Pakistan destroyed its entire economy to support Taliban and sold themselves to China... :pound:

I am 28 and I know what I am talking about. You Indians have habbit of either being in denial or in some delusions when it comes to Pakistan. Thing is we can destroy USA gains in Afghanistan quite easily also Russia and China already talking to Afghan Taliban and Russia already equipping them we just need to do some push and both your work and USA efforts will be burn to ground in Afghanistan.
You are thinking of bitting the hands that fed you for last 70 years. Go ahead. Just do it. The pleasure is all ours. The way things are going right now the only logical way ahead seems to be disintegration of Pakistan as a nation. Which may be divided into 4 parts. With one part being an US stooge and buffer state working for Uncle Sam and rest as good neighbors of India and Afghanistan. If I was you..I would be really scared... Really! Really scared!

Ah, looks like there's a big influx of Porki turds recently. Like how fire smokes rats out of holes, I guess they're running all over the internet after Trump's little "BOO" scare.

Because of several decades of propaganda and not knowing anything about their country, they don't know what their actual relationship with the US is.

- You beg from the US, the US throws things in your face because they need you for some immediate expediency. China will not give you money - it's all loans. I'd think even a Porki would know the difference between loan and gift, but all that inbreeding has had some serious effects. You've been living on alms, getting free money from Uncle Sam. Do you know what happens if their free gifts stop?

- All your generals, your politicians, your businessmen have their children and their property in the West. Do you know what happens if you really piss America off and it declares you a state sponsor of terror? The whole thing goes away. Do you know how damaging that will be to your economy - both black and white? Your pathetic corrupt generals will kneel and beg and cry before Trump before they let this happen, because being cut off from the US and the UK means they lose EVERYTHING.

- If the US starts getting its allies to deport all Porkistanis back home out of the middle east, europe, Asia, etc, your entire economy will collapse. I'm amazed how utterly stupid Porkis are that they don't see that the US is their lifeline. No America, no money. You have no industry, no production - all your money is either begging money or money sent home by your labourers. Have a think of what happens when that stops.

You Indians and your delusions only amuses us
I am serious. Indians when they say that your nation is facing it's worst crisis are not trolling you. They are saying a bitter truth. Remember Iraq. During Iran Iraq war it was US that armed Iraq. But soon the game in middle East changed and so did allies. It was the same US that attacked Iraq, executed Saddam and now Iraq in the verge of being divided and if not divided rest assured it is only going to be a US vasal state. If history is anything to go by I firmly believe that the time for Pakistan is up and over. Very soon the CIA will put in place its plan to divide your nation for good. And rest assured we will be there to put the final nail in the coffin. Trust us bro.
