A few days back In Srinagar, there was another encounter, where some of our men were martyred
I was thinking of whether it would be possible , to keep count of such incidents and the number of troops we lose every year, due to Kashmir, Insurgency in the north east and maoist violenece
This way, we can better appreciate the sacrifice of our young men in uniform, and pray for their soul to rest in peace
Also it can help us in analysing troop casualty data of various years, thereby showing the real situation and real threats.
And for all those who have given their lives, we salute you
