Came across this on Twitter about some finer details of the Third Battle of Panipat..thought I would share it.

Same mistakes all over - releasing of Najeeb Khan who latter killed his former captor, Indian (Hindu) leaders themselves not helping one another due to petty quarrels even in face of outside threats..

The praiseworthy things is the loyalty and bravery of Ibrahim Khan Gardi who was the son of Peshwa..even though he was a Muslim and this battle was labelled as between Islamic forces and Hindu forces remained loyal to his king till the very last when he was brutally killed..


p.s.; Can some one transalate the parts written in Marathi ?

Not mistress..mastani was Bajiros peshwa's wife.
