So what are you saying, another Russian nuke sub went down?
It points to a Russian sub, but that could also be there on behalf of China. PLAN naval activity was the highest it had ever been that week.

It seems that most naval activities related to the possibility of nuke sub sinking is coming from Russia...

I think Russia should slow down on their defence buildup a little bit, don't make the same mistake it did during the cold world. They should do it one thing at a time based on their current financial and technological capibilities.

That would be most likely if China had its own rescue submersible to not have a need for Russia to assist.

China does have some of the world best submersibles, some set the world record in ocean diving, but that's not the case, I don' t think the nuclear explosion report in SCS bein true, the world monitored and reported very North Korea nulcear test with very accurate details, it can't let slip of this one if it's true.

It can only dive 300m which is not deep enough. Russian DSRV can dive 800m.
China is the world biggest ship builder and produced record breaking submersible in recent years, China can easily make them if neccessory. But OP 's article is almose certain a fake news, in today's world no nuclear submarines can explode without getting the whole world's attention, In China many news channels also create fake news to get more traffic, no one cares about those clickbaits, they are just so pathetically fake.

Whether it's Russian or Chinese sub it's perplexing that there is not much movements from the USN or the Japanese Navy. A sunken PLAN or Russian SSN or SSBN is an intelligence treasure and a potential nuclear catastrophy that would surely attract intense scrutiny.

Actually US submarines are equipped to conduct DSRV so they could have already been down there and we would never know.

There will still be a need for airborne assets like P-8s to help locate the sunken sub (if there is). Aircrafts can easily be monitored by defense enthusiasts. But so far we have hestd of no such airborne activities.

How would a P-8 help you find a sunken submarine? Another submarine with much larger and more powerful sensors are the best way.
