well, in 1970s-1980s, with a per capital GDP of 3000 USD, a economy can be tagged as "developed economies",such as Soviet and east europe at that time.

in 1990s, the theshold of "developed economies" is about a per capital GDP of 8000 USD .

now, the threshold is a per capital GDP of 13000 USD.

how about the threshold in 2020?

I think it should be about 20 K USD.
