How many 'mother of all battles' are there going to be? I know muslim's can marry many times, but that's an awful lot of mothers ......

Russia won't comply with anti-Syrian sanctions, vessel inspections

Source: Russia won't comply with anti-Syrian sanctions, vessel inspections — RT
Of course they won't. they speak with forked tongue n'est pas? On the one hand they want an end to the fighting and a negotiated peace. On the other, they want to give back (give additional?) mended heli gunships.

Frankly I hope the ship is full of spetznaz and it gets stormed by a DEVGRU or European equivalent. Let's see who wins that particular fracas

Syria army mounts air and land attack on Aleppo

Syrian forces have kept up a day-long ground and air attack against rebels in parts of the city of Aleppo.

The BBC's Ian Pannell, who is in Aleppo, has seen fierce battles, with a number of rebel fighters killed.

Rebels with the Free Syrian Army (FSA) say they have repelled an army incursion and destroyed tanks, but there is no independent verification.

Of course there isn't...there hasn't been one since this whole thing started but professional news bodies like bbc and cnn have no problem reporting it since it helps there "side" in the propaganda battle.

Everyone talks about how low supplied the rebels are... but one has to wonder how long Syrian Army can keep this up. A couple shipments from Russia doesn't last long.

$32M? That's a lot of money. Now what needs to happen is for Russia to say to Assad "we'll look after your WMD's" Hate to think what would happen if the regime really did feel it was on it's last legs and used them.
If Assad uses the chemical weapons, he'll use it against Turkey and Israel at the most, but if the Islamic militants and the Al-Qaida nutjobs get hold of them, then God save Her Majesty's Island, and practically all non-Muslims, as well as the Shias.

The rebels supply routes on the West of Aleppo, that leads to Turkey, have been mostly cut off by the Syrian government forces. The rebels are like a rat stuck in a hole.

Rebels control everything from Aleppo to the Turkish border... it is hardly cut off. Assad on the other hand is cut off from Turkey, Iraq and Jordan. Only supply routes are by sea and the EU is checking any ship that isn't Russian.

EU wouldn't dare touch a Russian ship.

Mostly cut-off, yes; hardly cut-off, no. Any ideas why the rebels have run out of ammunition?

We'll see. Frankly, based on the comments on here, I'm erring towards their victory ;)

Whose victory?

You may perceive that people in this board follow the Russian narrative, I for one, do not want to see chemical weapons in the hands of the Al-Qaida.

You should pray for whatever outcome that best quits the needs of your people.
