What good comes out of discussing it in public forum? Is it to make yourself feel good?
News outlet are for profit business organization and will create content that people like to consume.
NY Times, Washington post, BBC, etc. might portray India in negative aspect as this is what their viewer might want to see or they might have some vested interest in portraying India negative.
Average Indian doesn't care about negative aspect of America hence our news media organization doesn't air such content.

There nothing wrong it and you dont seem to have problem when they portray India in negative light but come running in high speed if someone exposes them and do the analysis. I have been in US for close to a month now and all I can say is that unless a course correction is done the US will descend into more chaos and anarchy in the near future. In all metropolitan cities and towns(like Chicago which I passed by recently) I have observed that African American gangs and other drug addicted miscreants are on the rise. Heck you cannot enter a bus station port without seeing a group of pant laid down to the knees addicted guy/thug sitting near the entrance. Crimes, especially under the Biden administration has skyrocketed due to lax policing after the Floyd protests. Also I have observed that the Mexican American population has risen dramatically in the US or at least in the part where I live. Walmart has now adopted a bilingual labelling on items with both Spanish and English labelling. Mexican American values do not gel well with the core American ethos of the past.

It seems the precipitous decline of US will come sooner than later as more Americans keep leeching on welfare. America seems to have abandoned it's core ethics of hard work, rationality and true egalitarianism based on merit. The pandemic has further exacerbated this downward spiral. The abandonment of core values is what will cause the states to collapse.

Having said all of this there is some light at the end of the tunnel. The Indian American and Chinese professors in my university are world class and frankly far better than most if not all lethargic professors of our country. The public transport is also top notch. The roads in most suburban and white areas are also well maintained and better than any pot hole filled road of Kolkata. Let us hope the new breed of Chinese and Indian immigrants can take America forward. Also Americans in general need to wake up and go back to their old ways if they are to save their country.

The "demoralizing" of American society is bound to create problems. Today American kids from native families come from broken single parent homes. Empirical research has already established that a stable home is the basic necessity for academic excellence. Barring Indian and Chinese immigrants American culture is often influenced for the worse by the new race of immigrants. Corporate greed also plays a role in allowing immigrants to come here. Today's America is a far cry from the America of yester years where the drive for excellence in STEM is being replaced for excellence in gender studies. Heck even where I have been they make it mandatory to use correct pronouns before anything else. Imagine calling someone IT or THEY/THEM.

Also look up the census of America for 2020 and you will understand where Uncle Sam is headed. To add to this the FUNDS have already dried up. To a large extent. So many people on social welfare takes it toll. The pandemic has exacerbated this downfall. Why do you think Biden is lobbying for so many tax hikes reaching from inheritance tax to hike in property tax. ? What do you think is the reason for inviting every Tom, Dick and Harry like me to America? Simply to depress wages, keep the American economy working, account for a lazy native work force and drive up demand. Heck look what happened to social security.

Till now America is keeping up as they have a good source of cheap immigrant labour, be it white or blue collar immigrants. Once that is gone they will be in peril. It will be ideological to be precise. Obviously religion too will be there. California and liberal states are atheists. Otoh Texas and red states are Christians mostly Protestant and to some extent Catholic Irish Americans and Latina. Hindus in America are divided in both camps and can go either way. Hindus here are too divided and also geographically dispersed to affect anything.
As for ethnic basis despite African Americans being a major minority they too are too dispersed to ever form a solid block. However ideological division is rife in every state of America right now. Heck they cannot even agree on simple bills let alone more pressing issues like mask mandates and abortion.
