The Strain

First season a masterpiece.
Second season pretty decent.
third season could have been better.

The Vaccine War, directed by Vivek Agnihotri. Good movie, about India's efforts to develop its own vaccine, and the obstacles faced in the endeavour. Didn't do so well at the box office, unfortunately. And I saw it in a theatre in Canada on its last day showing, after only one week in the theatres.

Says many things that needed to be said, regardless of the seeming strident nationalism in the last 20 minutes, which was panned by some critics. The staggering numbers of India's vaccination drive come out, as well as India's assistance to other countries in those difficult days.
