The one gun whose full profile is visible is the Mk12 SPR Mod 1. A 5.56 AR15 converted into a DMR. Been in use with SOCCOM for decades.

yup, read it again. understood. initially, i didn't quiet understand it.

i didn't knew the connection btw 31 RR and sf, fully. i had read abt a gallantry awardee para sf officer from 31 RR and i thought sf guys end up in all RR units. then i checked on wiki and saw.

Looks like modified version of VSS, butt stock and mag is different......
Also it's using reflex sight instead of PSO 1
