SHOULDERS BEHIND SOLDIERS
Doctors are providing yeoman service especially in the heights of Ladakh including Siachen. They too are battling the harsh weather conditions while providing medical cover. They are a source of inspiration and a morale booster to the troops in times of need, while caring for the ailing with high altitude related critical medical problems such as HAPE, HACE, Frost Bite and DVT.
The MG Med Northern Command visited the field medical units and met the young doctors and troops in Ladakh, boosting their morale and infusing enthusiasm amongst them. Incidentally Maj Gen Madhuri Kanitkar, AVSM,VSM is the first lady offr to have taken over the responsibilities of MG (Med) of this operational Command and visited Siachen too.
She reviewed the medical facilities in far flung areas. The doctors are also providing health care to the civilians through OP Sadhbhawna and are regularly caring for tourist population who venture into these heights without acclimatization.

As you can see in this picture BSF Jawans are wearing Army's old 1974 model helmets while Army Jawans have new MKU Helmets. MHA has placed separate order for 1.2 ACHs but those are being distributed to all CAPFs. Till then BSF will use Army's old ones.

Thinking the same damn thing. I swear this was the last gen camo, but it's still being meshmashed with other camo. It just looks unprofessional.

Thanks to MKU for adding another camouflage in already not so standardized clothing of IA. That's the camo cover they are giving with the Helmet. Some RR Battalions have changed the camo to standard issued one but infantry battalions posted along LOC use the stock one. Something's needs to be done about that.

Just one letter to the manufacturer would solve this simple problem! The condom does a much better job at distorting the helmet's obvious silhoutte, just gotta make it with the left pattern...

What sense is that? Why did IA accept this from MKU? What we’re MKU thinking?

IA will make DRDO jump through every hoop they can imagine but will then accept such a stupid deviation from their requirements? Or are IA so

It's several vendors producing several camos. I have seen like 3-4 different camo types on an Indian in Kashmir, why? The leaf print is the worse kind, cause it ancient. Why doesnt anyone accountable walk by and see an issue?
