@AVINASH4061 sir, where do you see this heading?
Also, can you draw parallels to other past incidents in Pakistan like this (Mass riots, Army thrashing it's own people even in Punjab etc)?

Finally, are we being a bit too optimistic in assuming this will make an Afghanistan (or worse) out of Pakistan?
Pakistan is a country that rests on the foundation laid by the military. Nothing can change the fact that the final decision making authority is the military there. Come what may, the senior officials of the military are not letting the traction go the other way. Civil war can't be sustained there because of lack of adequate capital, weapons and will. The economy is crashing, the common man is unhappy and fundamentally brainwashed. What else can we expect?

Pakistani society is now turning way too radical. If they continue down this path Pakistan may endup like Afghanistan. In Hinduism we call it Karma.
You are wrong here.

all good muslims if they follow their prophet and the Qur'an accurately will naturally exhibit the this behaviour.i and many were called extremists by the liberandus as we accurately predicted this as it destroyed their all religions are equal bs.

What you are seeing is the pious followers of islam in pak trying to take their religion seriously and following it to the writ which inevitably clashes with the writ of the state and the various other power centers.

They are not being radical but they are being fundamentalists as in they are atleast trying to be serious about their religion that demands total submission to the religions ways and rules and we all know those rules(atleast the important ones that might affect non muslims) here don't we.

Radical implies they are following a radical interpretation or a artificially extreme form of islam when they are only trying to faithfully follow the generic stuff whether it is logistically or logically possible or not.tgings like spreading islam as a universalist religion and destroying all infidels and kafirs, establishing a caliphate, etc.

The thing is the police and the other factions fighting them are not much better, they are trying to be muslim too.but they are just failing at it,or purposefully holding back(as following all the tenets of islam is boring and nightmarishly technologically primitive).they support these guys, they just want them directed at others like non muslims.they thought their somewhat good adherence to islam was enough to escape the ire of the more fundamental types and they judged wrong.this is not uncommon in islam and also in pakistan.there are other groups like them like pak Taliban,TTP,etc.

What's the logic behind the precise timings. So, everything under control in 4 hours..
Maybe to control this mob, 4 hours internet blackout is understandable to prevent planning and incitement for more riots.
