I think this is a good strategy. Keep pretending to talk to Taliban but DO NOT recognize them. Wait it out and see where the NRF goes with their fight. The way they are retaliating shows that Taliban are on the backfoot in several areas.

If we keep the pretence of talking, we can wait for Massoud & Saleh to retake Afghanistan and recognize the government ASAP. We did not get to speak in the Troika; this is the best revenge dish we can serve all the so-called world powers.

This is how a French Journalist was today beaten by Taliban terrorists on the streets of Kabul for covering a protest by Afghan women. Directions from Pakistan to target women and journalists.

Let's hope he was not executed later and that he returned home in one piece. This incident though unfortunate would help France make up its mind and move away from the US fantasy land of 'good terrorist, bad terrorist".

As the security scenario in Afghanistan continues to deteriorate, Sikhs -- a community that was already in a dire situation before the collapse of the government -- practically have to make a choice between options of "converting to Sunni Islam or run away" from Afghanistan, said a report.

The community, which once numbered in the tens of thousands, has been ruined and devastated by years of emigration and death, driven by both systemic discrimination and an uptick in fanatical religious violence in Afghanistan, International Forum For Rights and Security (IFFRAS) said.

The larger numbers of Sikhs live in Kabul while some in the provinces of Ghazni and Nangarhar.

On October 5, 15 to 20 terrorists entered Gurdwara (Sikh temple) and tied up the guards.

The attack happened in the Kart-e-Parwan District of Kabul. Sikhs in Afghanistan often experience such attacks and violence in the country.

There were many anti-Sikh violent attacks in Afghanistan.

Last year in June an Afghan Sikh leader was kidnapped, reportedly by 'terrorists'. No further details about the case were disclosed by the sources.

Another Sikh man was kidnapped and killed in Kabul in March 2019.

Later, Afghanistan's police had arrested two suspects. While in Kandahar, another, some unknown gunmen had shot another Sikh man.

Sikhs have been living in Afghanistan for centuries but for decades even the Afghan government has failed to provide Sikhs adequate housing or reinstate their homes, which has been illegally occupied by their powerful neighbours or warlords during the 1990s.

After the recent massacre of the Sikhs by the Taliban in a Gurdwara in Kabul on March 26, 2020, most Afghan Sikhs were leaving for India, said IFFRAS.

Long Post:-
All things happening from China in LAC to Talib taking over Afghan is blessing in disguise for India IMHO. An aggressive PLA is very much needed for the political class, military and civilian babus to wake up from the slumber and build up a strong and self sustaining military. Else the default strategic advisors in MEA will continue with their gandhigiri. ISI and Haqqanised Talibs showing middle finger to the west and Russia is a classic case of Karma. These stupid global elites blindly believed the ISI and Talibs and kept India out of the loop. Now India is having an "I told you niggas" moment.

India is the only bridge between the Russian, Iran, Central Asian states and the West and Sunni Arabs. These guys know very well that a Taliban backed by ISI and PAK Army can cause significant headaches. The Saudis, UAE are all looking at Tourism, services and other businesses to add muscle to the economy with the doubtful non-oil future. Peace, stability and security is crucual for business and economy to flourish. PAK and Talibs can play spoilsport all the way from ME to Europe. The same security threat is there for Russia, Central Asian states and Iran. But the Arabs, Iranis, Russians and the west has there own problems between them. India is the only approachable common stable nation with considerable military and intelligence heft here. This region is also very important to China, CPEC and OBR that an Indian military presence in Tajikistan with the ample support of all parties in the region is the last thing Chinese want. They will put further pressure in LAC.

Even in Washington, the Pentagon and US DoD were kicked to a corner with Biden appointing a 'Yes-man' Lloyd Austin as SecDef and all shorts called by Antony Blinken, aligning with the Xtra Left(left-islamic nexus) and the Left, Right and Xtra Right advises were not valued. The Leftist Biden mama, the Xtra left Kamala mami and gang were looking forward to a brand new civilised Taliban shaking hands with Xtra left west and opening a new chapters with the titles 'Islamic Renaissance', the 'Radical Islamic Terror is now history' and 'Hindoos and Jews are the new threat' kinda shit.

Like India, now Pentagon and US military is having their own 'We told you' moment and USDoState have nothing in defence. The Chief of Naval ops of USN(a member of US Joint Chief of Staffs committee that advises White House on Defense related matters) is now on a 5-day visit to New-Delhi(how quickly things went south from FONOPS sailing near lakshadweep. I am sure this move have had reservations among USN. But they can only follow orders from top)and the USCENTCOM looking for drone and special ops base in India.

The Chinese, Taliban, PA, ISI and their plan to increase strategic depth against India have now made us much more significant strategically.. Everything from here depends on how New Delhi plays this game.
