This is real American Exceptionalism, I guess.
Of course. Bringing democracy.
Even though bootlicking sycophants may justify even this, the woman who was crying over the dead bodies and screaming, "We're not ISIS, we're ordinary people, we helped the Americans!" turned out to be right.
Like many other drone strikes, the strike in Kabul targeted innocent people and achieved nothing except to blow up civilians that had the misfortune to be in the vicinity.
They claim there was a secondary explosion that proves that explosives were present in the car, but according to the investigative reports no such second explosion occurred. The objects that they believed to be explosives were water containers. Despite surveilling Ahmadi for eight hours that day, they managed to get every important detail wrong about what he was doing, who he was with, and what he was transporting.
Now, Amrikis are boasting about how the Pentagon was exposed, which is typical American bullshit. You think this incident will stop it? The drone war will be expanded as more and more drones are manufactured. It's simple if you follow the money from DC to the MIC and back to DC campaign funds.
Drones are a boon for them. It is the preferred methodology. Clean. No American military personnel at risk. Information completely on their side. Cowards for journalists. Just perfect.
Drones will be flown more than ever.
And this ultimately tells you the USA's 20 year history in Afghanistan. The US built nothing in Afghanistan except military bases. They bombed schools, hospitals, weddings, and funerals. Bush, Jr said in 2001 that Afghanistan was responsible for 9/11, every Afghan was a terrorist, so they bombed them all, sent many to Black Sites for torture, left the ordinary Afghan with less than $2 a day (but made a few Afghans incredibly rich).
If this is not American exceptionalism, I don't know what is.
