Not just that Afganistan also carries a lesson on why nation state , nationalism , civilizational identity is important . Things some groups doing in india for decades like mulnivasi movement , dravidian vs aryans , upper caste vs lowecaste and Abrahamic movements which aims at denegreting our civilizational identity and their impact ... The Taliban are discovering more and more helicopters, Mi-17 among them. When coupled with reports of AAF pilots defecting to their side, it's really bad. At this rate, Air Taliban will become operational.

In the meantime, while the Pentagon is assembling a group to evacuate the embassy in Afghan capital, Kabul, US President Sleepy Joe went on a two-week vacation to Delaware today. Suppa Pawwa Amrika!!!

Things are looking real grim for us if Taliban advance isn't met with resistance then Kashmir is threatened, everything that we built over the last few years will be put to test(anti-infiltration grid).

Noticing that “desi intellectuals” on social media today are joining the band wagon of murica bashing .

me thinks it better to publicly acknowledge the right of a state to act in self interest instead of bashing murica, bashing murica will not change anything on the ground.

Where as recognising a state to act in self interest will educate our own folks that it is a state’s duty to act in self interest just like India has to right to act in self interest in future eventualities.

Let them muricans to their govt bashing, they do it because they will make money out of it in future by writing books and giving speeches on this topic.

Our folks won’t get anything out of it. let’s stick to our national self interest.

I agree but the withdrawal was kinda rushed,the deal was brought to stop violence and create peace,but reverse happened.

yes sure. all perspective can coexist.

Day is not far away india will have to act in self interest with pak. Might as well lay the ground work now itself that Indians understand the concept of “acting in self interest”.

answer to this is that after Ghani came to “power”, they did ask for more freedom to operate their own way. Muricans focused on ghost soldiers story and made more conditions for funding.

Result was that, DFI along with others were in awe of afghan SF kit funded by muricans(some even compared afghan SF kit to our “SF kit”) , failed to recognise how hollow the ground game was(including me).
