Interview by Taliban with Ismail Khan - not sure if voluntarily or under duress. But Ismail Khan says : “ An Afghan where environment for a peaceful living can be created.”

Bigwigs joining the Talibs slowly, next is Dostum's turn. How quickly they change their alliances!

To think India spent my tax money for these monkeys is unbelievable. Ruling from kabul is the greatest mistake, should have ruled from north and fortified it completely from south. Now nowhere to go. We shouldn't spend a dime on these cave subhumans, don't know how to identify them? they shout allah-ola-akbar.

Look.. ultimately America is a world away .. you assume that the Americans always have some master plan, they don't.. It was an article, or book by George Friedman, the founder of Stratfor and a geopolitical forecaster... He said that the US does not really care about the implications of its military interventions abroad, precisely because they never have any effect back home. This gives America great leeway to do whatever pleases it..
America has the Pacific and Atlantic oceans on its sides.. And Canada and Mexico to its north and South.. There is absolutely zero geopolitical threat to the continental United States.. And that's why it goes around blowing things up in Asia, or europe or Africa, because it can get away with it, without any negative impact on the American homeland.
Well, George Friedman had predicted that by 2020, both Russia and China will disintegrate and lose all their power, so. He is a very knowledgeable person, but that doesn't mean he's right about everything. Just because America cannot be invaded does not mean that the implications of its military interventions have no effect back home.

The US has participated in regime changes throughout the world, has gone back on treaties and refused to abolish NATO precisely because its military actions in the world benefit it back home. Continued wars and conflicts helps its military-industrial complex, helps to keep attention away from domestic issues.

Why do you think the US intervened in the Middle East? To bring "democracy"? No, it was continued insistence by neo-cons, the evangelical right who wanted to play "My God's d**k is bigger than your God's d**k!", and the powerful Jewish lobby serving Israel's interests. Of course, the oil factor helped things too.

And there certainly are effects back home too. 9/11 was precisely because of US intervention in Middle East and funding the Mujahedeen in Afghanistan.

Pakistan has become an albatross around the neck for USA, they are in a major tussle with Russia, what with the increasing number of cyber attacks by Russians, China is eclipsing them militarily, and having a trade war with the Chinks didn't help them too. And the Deep State there hates India for obvious reasons.

Their actions in Afghanistan were a calculated move. Don't think, for a moment, that I am suggesting that it is the senile idiot Biden or his puppet Vice President and politicians who are behind all this. These people are braindead morons and are content as long as they can have a few minutes in the media.

It is the Deep State and the powerful lobbyists who are controlling this country with a string. Trump was about to usher relative peace in the Middle East with the Abraham Accords, as soon as he went out, the Accords went into the dustbin, and suddenly the violence and conflict starts again in Syria and in Palestine. Even then, the Middle East is becoming peaceful as more and more Arab nations are normalizing their relations with Israel and problems there are subsiding.

Consequently, the attention has now shifted from the Middle East to here in Central Asia. Whether they'll succeed in their efforts here is something to be seen.

Pakistan has completed construction of the wall on the border with Afghanistan.

Islamabad says it is building a fence to prevent militant attacks. The border barrier is already 90% complete.

On the point of assumption that US capitulation in taliban negotiations.

Remember my old chicken neck and Baghdad market story.

What if afghan people are the chicken in current scenario? Could be the case that, taliban simply offered that we won’t use VBIEDs in market places during your withdrawal as long as you don’t show any public support to afghan govt.

if we look closely, VBIED is almost absent in this taliban campaign. In past years VBIED is a key weapon in Taliban arsenal.
