This is more fcked up than u think .. There is also a racial angle to this besides shia - sunni ... hazara have central asian / mongol roots dating back to invasion of chengiz khan ... On the other hand many sunni of Afganistan have persian/ Aryan ethinic background ... So iran is not so emotional abt them .. though Hazara refugee were used against ISIS by Iran with a threat that if they dont fight ISIS they ll be deported to Afganistan ... Hazara prosecution is not new .. they were prosecuted even before taliban and used as slaves .. Hazara young boys are very much liked by mujahids for things u guess ... Afgan amir in 19th century had killed 20k hazara in one event ..
