And maintenance support contracts

Russian Geopolitical goals are more aligned with Chinese OBAR and even Pakistan

There Geopolitical stand on every issue from kashmir to Indo Chinese tension is Neutral to Chinese centric.


Hell even we participated with Chinese military in joint exercises for years

1 Taliban isnt going to walk into Kashmir. No one is. Anything coming into our territory, tailban,pakjabi,Han all are going to be target practice.

2. Taliban is a ISI subsidiary, there is no chance of any alliance.

3. Unless Pakis are forced to stop their support of Taliban or US finds an ally in Iran and uses Iran as its supply route, there is no use fighting Taliban.

4. The west controls world finance. They may squeeze pakis, and squeeze them so hard that even Chinese won't be able to save them. Like they did to Iran. Will US and west do it. Don't know.

5. Russia have sidelined India in their Afghan policy, some where India needs to make it clear to ruskies that alliance with Pakis is a zero sum game for us.

Russia Vetoed resolutions against India and still vetoes them.

All thosw big hydropower project , steel plants, ordanance factories , oil rigs , oil refineries , nuclear plants , naval ships and many more .
Training farmers in modern agriculture , supporting India during cold war and even after that by exercising veto power.
Never said anything about selling their weapons to us , no snobbish attitude nor any precondition.
Sent a naval fleet from Vladivostok to deter American and British aircraft carriers and their support ships during 1971 war. And not to say , 47 army divisions of the Soviet army were stationed on Chinese border with ussr to deter them from getting involved in the conflict
What more do you want, we still see them as brotherly country.

I believe the tide will turn against the taliban, come winter.

This is just a small phase where so little gains are shown as huge victories.

Taliban will inevitably control most of its historic Pashtun strongholds in South Afghanistan. But world powers should ensure that North and East Afghanistan do not succumb to the jihadi extremism.

Taliban cannot be sufficiently weakened in Pashtun dominated Afghanistan but again the Afghan Pashtuns are not a unified group. But they do all agree on opposing foreign occupation and wants a Pashtun Supremacy.

So the Partition of Afghanistan should be the best policy option to the United States and its allies.

Pakistan will definitely oppose the partition. Because Pakistan seeks a strategic gain once the U.S. military withdraws from Afghanistan.

Pashtun Afghanistan will again be a hotbed of international terrorism, a dangerous outcome that will engulf the region.

Russia already has started preparing, So should India...time is ticking fast.
