What unique capability does India brings to the table that US can't( except some supplies through iran due to our bilateral relationship with them) in this emerging scenario in Afghanistan

Nothing much .. Nothing that we do can change the battlefield situation.. that is going against Ghani government across the country.. If the problem was just a few cities.. then India could have helped.. But, the Taliban are conducting a simultaneous assault on a dozen cities.. This goes to show the huge logistical capabilities of the Taliban..

The US can make a difference on the ground, only if Pakistan allows it to.. along with a promise that they won't kill pretty American soldiers.. That comes first...
Pakistan is for bidding, who ever bids highest they will go to that side.

Pakistan is selling many things these days and their strategic policy, Taliban or PM house in the country is for the highest bidder. They think they can get money and then retrieve it by using Islamic radicals.

It's better the American pansies stay out.. Unlike Russian support to Assad, or Pakistan support to Taliban, there is no conviction and reliability in American support.. They will only prolong the life of a dying regime..

Nah pakistan cannot say no to the US. The recent flight patterns show that too.

It's just that US is done and is going home unfortunately they couldn't in the past 20 years make ANA stand on their own two feet.

Why pakistan allowed since 2001 and suddenly stopped in 2021
It's just that America decided how pointless the whole venture was.. where US completely depends on Pakistan for air and land logistics to Afghanistan, and this country Pakistan is the chief sponsor of the Taliban, who will continue to support the Afghan Taliban come what may..

Iran has announced the closure of its key border crossing with Afghanistan's Nimroz province

Northern alliance 2.0 or whatever was in the works is dead before it could even start. The northern blitz by taliban has caught everyone off guard.

They had learned a lot over the past 20 years. The are slowly but steadily surrounding the ANA from all sides thus cutting them of from possible help from other countries.

China to has managed to keep Russia and central Asia out of this thus preventing any possible alliance.

Lol.. Then Why did Pakistan say no to the US for 20 years, when US begged it to cut support for the Taliban..
Don't confuse tactical concessions by Pakistan, like allowing a few bombers ( which does not make much of a difference in the dynamics of the battle on the ground ) with strategic decision making..Unlike the US, Pakistan is always ready to sacrifice a few hundred lives to US bombs, if it means winning the war.. There is only so much strategic bombers can do.. What Afghan army needs is US close air support.. and that's not coming..

I was not talking about this but rather US staying in Afghanistan.

If they wished to stay pakistan couldn't say no but now they are leaving themselves.

Pakistan will always continue to fund Taliban because they are in a position where they are needed by the US thus US was kind of handicapped in their approach towards Taliban.

TaliFags are trying to pre-empt the re-emergence of the Northern Alliance and isolate the legitimate government in Kabul. Its main goal is to seize key cities in northern Afghanistan.

So US has ordered its citizens to flee, soon other countries citizens will do the same. They saw it coming.

Will ANA be able to defend Kabul long term without outside help? If Taliban does either defeat the government or a stalemate is reached whereby Taliban controls most of the country, will TTP then start on Pakistan?

Pakistan has axed it's own foot.
Not now not now. ,but very near it is.
Ghani will fall, when special forces are uses as infantry then what you accept ?
7 pilots of afagan army killed today , 7 pilots !
5 provincial capitals taken .
Kabul will fall in 2 month maximum.
Then some factions might move towards kpk
