There is a famous proverb that the enemy of my enemy is my friend and it is, in reality, playing out in Afghanistan right now. As the Afghan Taliban and Beijing get cozy, their opponents, mainly the ISIS-K in Afghanistan and militants belonging to China's persecuted minority - the Uighurs are joining hands.

So the adversaries are:

ISIS-K +Uighur militants pitted against China + Afghan Taliban + Pak.

The fireworks have already commenced at Kunduz and will soon spread across Afghanistan. Needless to say, China will never put boots on the ground but will help the Afghan Taliban with weapons and equipment, and supplies. The conflict will likely spread first into Pak and then China eventually. The drumbeating by Pak of their intervention and so-called 'success' in Afghanistan is turning out to be an albatross around its neck!

Since line has been drawn with no pro india or sane voice in current regime I hope india atleast secretly provides some financial help to Tajikhistan to keep the Northern Alliance in shape . They are not going to rule Kabul but atleast we ll have a leverage in the region .
