Afghanistan: Taliban to locate, secure Bactrian treasure
The Bactrian treasure is an important asset of Afghanistan that was brought to the Presidential Palace by the former government in February 2021 and was put on display for the people. However, after the collapse of the former government, concerns were raised over its safety. The collection is composed of jewels and gold and was discovered at an ancient royal cemetery site. The remains of seven people were decorated with thousands of pieces of gold, reported Tolo News.

Talibs have no clue as to where this treasure is.

American airstrikes killing innocents are not rare occurrences. A recent Airwars analysis identified that, since 2001, the US has declared "at least 91,340 strikes" across its conflicts in Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Libya, Somalia, Syria, and Yemen. According to their estimate, as little as 22,679 people, while as many as 48,309, have been likely slain by US drone airstrikes, with the majority of deaths occurring in Iraq (2003) and Syria (2017). For the people of Afghanistan, and the Middle East broadly, Ahmadi’s story is all too familiar. Innocent lives lost, families torn apart, and communities reduced to rubble – all for what, exactly?

This is what normalcy looks like, I guess. Botched withdrawals, broken promises, fanatical foreign policies, no accountability, and a lot of dead people; these are the lessons learned from Washington’s Global War on Terror.

It is heedless to think that these will be the last innocent people killed during Washington’s global war. The "war" isn’t over; Washington has merely rebranded it. No matter how it’s characterized – War on Terror, Crusade Against Evil, Great Power Competition, Over-the-Horizon counterterrorism – it’s still an ill-defined, unrestrained, and imperial mission that imperils the liberty and security of everyone.

and in this case, it’s not like the families of victims of this attack are going to blame murica forever. the families will receive blood money and everybody will keep quiet.

That's probably their most practical choice anyway. They cannot hope to take Uncle Sam down. And for all the bragging and boasting about America being free, defeating Soviet Communism and leader of the free world nonsense, their actions have become the very embodiment of Stalin's famous "a single death is a tragedy, a million deaths are a statistic".

After killing tens of thousands of people, what's 10 more deaths? Their coward journalists are more busy in trying to figure out Trump's latest "racist" action, so it's not like the people who authorized this will have to face any consequences.

I’d say lesson for us is not moral grandstanding, rather develop internal capability to do our own sustained moral grandstanding narratives.

Murican grandstanding has a purpose, that is to keep other countries occupied on things other than building own capabilities.

Take Diwali cracker ban for example, the origin of this discourse is murican based (the wire, quint, harsh Mandar etc), India collectively spent atleast a lakh mandays debating, tweeting, arguing with each other with real world consequences. so much so that BJP politicians themselves are spearheading cracker ban now a days.

These one lakh collective mandays could have been used by us to learn something new or create something new which could have been beneficial to Bharat’s future.

Moral of the story: It’s better to take up topics for grandstanding which have strategic benefit to us rather than just empty rhetoric.

At the very start it is been discussed not to rush to recognise Taliban.

India and all of us can at least show the world that we are the only civilisation which has invested in peace not conflict.

Obviously we will defend ourself and our investment in peace being surrounded by rogue nations who are allowed to become monsters by so called hyper powers.

Like I said before and a poster tweeted by Kanchan Das Gupta proving it where an old poster is calling upon USA to join the fight for their civilisation and now after Cold War these continuous attacks on nations on different pretexts by usual suspects.

This is nothing but clash of civilisations driven by cults of the false Islamic and Christian gods.

We as a Hindu civilisation must stand tall among these violent midgets who are destroying humanity bit by bit. Their gall to lecture us with straight faces on human rights and democracy must be called out by our leaders. Our leaders must stop praising them and keep every business transaction to the point.

All those excuses of keeping their country safe and protecting democracy has become a joke. Now they are destroying countries and creating disruptions costing millions of lives just for fun.
The keeping America safe is the most outlandish excuse possible.

Afghanistan in itself had absolutely nothing to do with 9/11. Nineteen Arabs met in the Middle East, flew to Germany, then the UK, then the US in 2000 and spent the next year planning their attack. They were persuaded by the khutbahs in some Saudi mosques and by one faction, the Al-Qaeda that predatory loans had murdered millions of Muslims, and the guilty parties were all those in the World Trade Center.

John Perkins' book Confessions of an Economic Hitman proves that the predatory lenders did kill some Muslims (though the majority of their victims were non-Muslims), but Perkins had no idea who his employers were, they were very careful to hide their identity, even from their own employees, and almost certainly had nothing to do with the World Trade Center.

None of this or pretty much any foreign action they have taken in recent decades has anything to do with the safety of the US. But it's not exactly for fun either.

The entire game plan was oil and heroin. The soldiers who died in Afghanistan did so:

1. To make money for the military industrial complex
2. To make slush funds for the CIA from opium
3. To make money for mining corporations owned by Wall Street capitalists
4. To make money for UNOCAL building pipelines
5. To occupy a strategically located nation from which
(a) Iran was planned to be invaded from the east along with from Iraq in the west
(b) China was to be destabilized by pushing jihadi head choppers into Xinjiang

(c) Russia was to be harmed via the Central Asian stans in its backyard, which could be subverted and broken away from Moscow's orbit.

When it comes to the invasion itself, absolutely none of these reasons had anything to do with bin Laden, because the Taliban had actually OFFERED to extradite bin Laden to a third country for trial if evidence of his guilt was provided. Now probably there was zero chance of this happening, but US of A didn't even try and just invaded the country outright.

That's because the invasion of Afghanistan was decided long before the 9/11 attacks; specifically, the Imperialist States of America had decided on regime change from the minute Mullah Omar in 1997 decided to award pipeline rights to BRIDAS of Argentina instead of UNOCAL. And although bin Laden was in Afghanistan during this period (1996-7), the American government had absolutely no hesitation in negotiating with the Taliban at the time.

Lastly, while the Amriki soldiers are the least responsible in this situation, they and their family members too ought to accept the fact that they, being volunteers, ultimately have themselves to blame for joining a war of choice against a country on the other side of the planet that posed absolutely no threat to their own.
