Pakistan worked for Taliban radicals and India worked for Afghan society.
It's okay if you believe that. I don't... India worked for it's own interests. Pakistan worked for it's own too. Both had to incur some cost. We had to shell out a few billion $$, and Pakistan wasted it's 20 years, and counting.

We can agree on that, it's easy to make friends when you have a fat purse. :daru:
Nope.

US couldn't 'make' friends, nor could China.

But, you can buy 'friends', and in modern day diplomacy that is the most one can hope for. Still you have to remain on your toes that the friend that you bought isn't going to double cross you.

Our standard response saw a paradigm shift with Balakot.
Balakot happened with a Trump white house. Biden-Kamala has instilled almost schizophrenic levels of fright in the Modi government. He'll let any group of chadarmods defile the Tricolor on the Red Fort out of fear that Democrats will drone-strike 7RCR if he took action.

Little does he know that the Democrats are already executing a slow regime-change op in India, and he'd rather go out in a blaze of glory having achieved big strategic goals; than whither away in disgrace like a coward. Nobody is going to praise Modi's COVID-19 vaccination programme despite being arguably the world's best outside of China. That itself should be an indicator that he should stop trying to impress the world, focus on India's interests, even if at cost to his own image/party.

Tarun - +108.

People don't realize that conflict is as old as human civilization itself. There is no hiding from it - even if we are peace loving, someone else is going to start it for us and drag us in. We should prepare and prepare well. Conflict is not only war but everything ranging from diplomatic tussle to external influence.

Our attitude has been - Loved by all and hated by none - is not realistic.

Another thing I wanted to highlight on the 2k $ per capita thing - our ambition should drive our development, preparation, and progress and not vice-versa. This is a very wrong attitude to imbibe - we have XX dollars and hence we have YY influence. This way, we are just letting our current circumstances dictate our fate. If anything the rag tag Telebunnies and Vietnamese have proven otherwise.

All these doesn't mean boots on the ground or any other crazy stuff - but heck, there should be a change in our national attitude. Right now, we are even scared to take sides and call a spade for a spade.

Ignore nukes. This is Biden’s Pakistani vote bank and Pakistani advisor/s thriving along woke order. They have recent win him an election. Pakistan will remain lucky until India flips its lid.
Why do you think the Western media especially trash like the BBC are pro Pak retards? Pandering to their Pak constituencies for votes. These Porks have a tremendous influence on these honchos and politicians. Also rags like the NYT and Washington Post are chockablock with Pakis in their editorial boards. So can we expect unbiased reporting? Nope!!

Did you see the way Christine Fair was made to shut up and cut off midway during a BBC program when she said that Pakis were helping the Talibs in Afghanistan?

Not pro pak but employed Pakistan to implement their designs.
They have the backing of west to do their bidding in Afghanistan. This is what Pakistanis are trying to explain.

they make sure Pakistan does their bidding and put it in place after that.
