Do they anymore? To the best of my knowledge, the Porkis used to launder most of the Stingers for themselves since the US used to supply the Mujahedeen through Pakistan.Dont the mujahedin have stingers or any other aa weapon ?
If not than mujahedin is done
Where did they get attack helis?
#AFG “ Amrullah Saleh’s house was attacked by attack helicopters twice. Amrullah Saleh was moved to a undisclosed location in Panjshir.” Sources close to Saleh tells me.
Take with a truckload of salt. Who operates those attack helis anyways?
Anywhere apart from Pakistan or Afghanistan would doescape to?
Taliban has said, they will make an inclusive government, it indirectly means, no resistances.Really man, there was a time a few decades ago, when Afghans used to fight..
Just like how the Taliban melted away in 2001 during the US invasion. The opposition has just melted away after US withdrawal. The only fight has been on the table in wheeling and dealing..
As, I kept saying, all the fighting has been on twitter.. Son.of Ahmed Massoud.. blah blah blah..![]()
Both are Tajiks by ethnicity.escape to?
We should nuke them now we have got the subs to do thisThe victory of Taliban has emotional value for the Ummah. There is a prophecy in Quran which talks about rise of an army with black flags in Khorasan. The way US has been defeated, withdrew and shamed is a big moral booster for the Islamic world. The next part of the prophecy is victory of black flag holders over India and Islamic rule over it. As you all might already know it is termed as "Gazwa e hind".
Wether I believe in this or not is inconsequential.
The thing is sooner or letter the " believers" fighting in Afghanistan will come to India for the ultimate goal. It may be tomorrow, a decade later, 50 years later or 500 years later. They will come for us.
We can weigh or act like weighing our option but the thing is we don't have any option. We can wait and watch and then fight battle on our land with typical defensive mindset or we can keep Afg. groups fighting themselves and keep themselves busy by intervention ( strictly through financial and technology's based weaponery?)
Few strikes on there leader ship would render them like headless chickens.. Keep them busy in infighting for selection of new leaders. Till Taliban is not recognised by all nations it's a terrorist group and we will be hitting a terror outfit.
Chinks? Lol.What exactly IS stopping India from intervening? Is it just the chinks? Or the economic costs of war that people were mentioning a few pages back. If we really wanted to steamroll through Paki territory and open a supply line to NRF we could, especially since Talib is asking for Pakistani help in exchange for attacking Kashmir.
Well sir, American/Russian/British/French foreign policy is also run by civilians. In India's case, its mostly the mindset set by the leaders in early 50s, non interference, neutral policies et alOn Pakistan: They take risks because their regional foreign policy is run by their military establishment who have no accountability to people while retaining policy continuity. As indicated by recent slogans “Ye jo dehshadgardi hai, iske peeche wardi hai”.
On India : Foreign policy is risk averse because it falls under civilian domain with greater emphasis on accountability.
If we are to go into root causes of many of the things that are happening today, was watching Sanjeev Sanyal interview a few days ago. Apparently the left wing-right wing political classification that we use today was non existent up until early years of independence, the original classification was loyalists and nationalists. post independence the loyalists like Nehru came to power since brits systematically prevented nationalists from gaining political power.
if we extend this logic, Pakistan was being ruled by nationalists right from the beginning and India was being ruled by loyalists for most part.
