Update from Panjshir Front.Taliban attack has been routed. Paki drones had detected gaps in Tajik defense lines. Talibans charged in and got badly ambushed. Over 600 casualties.

No.. that can't be the reason.. If you push back government formation, just because Panjshir hasn't been captured, then you introduce a lot more variables among the Taliban factions, and things can go South for the Taliban as a cohesive unit.. Also, the longer the government formation is delayed, the big powers/nations, will conclude that factional differences are too strong, and that they can target the Taliban, and rip them apart by buying off some factions..
