They do with combinations, get the info from multiple sources for confirmation, electronic Intel, data analysis etc etc...
Yet, they did not know Ghani would scoot, province after provice will fall, Afghan National Army would dissolve and Talibs will take over within weeks.

Yeah, very reliable.

This withdrawal can also be seen with Weapon generation advancement lense. I may be exaggerating or sounding cynical but would still like to put forth my thoughts.

American MIC has scattered its advanced equipments like a seed which the whole region has not been able access before. The last Russian withdrawal and the left over weapons from both the sides fueled a war which also reached out borders. The technology may be very hard to master to create a war-winning comprehensive systems. But countries like China- Pakistan also India for that matter are not that far away from breaching current generation of American technology.

There are many difficulties with few critical technologies which can not simply be copied but there is also lack of know how to make different subsystems and make them work in tandem.

The worry is, these weapons are going to pose direct challenge due to their sheer numbers and going to destabilize the regional balance but will also fuel an arms race lead by more improved and lethal weapons.

American MIC who already has more advanced weapon systems giving access to its current generation of weapons to fuel next wars as current capabilities have become too at par to even get triggered.

It takes months to organise the surrender. I guess US knows this.

The Taliban are in talks with Qatar and Turkey about the management of Kabul airport and should secure the airport as soon as possible so that people who want to leave Afghanistan can do so using commercial flights, French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian says.

West actually got trapped in their own trap of slogans like democracy, human rights and freedom.
Slogans? Democracy, human rights and freedom are the values of much of the west and treasured by many people in Europe, US, Canada and elsewhere, not least because they have provided for peaceful (no war) co-existence between different countries.

The story of last night clash in Gulbahar a gateway to Panjshir: “Taliban blew a bridge to advance toward Panjshir, due to explosion one house was destroyed, but they couldn’t advance. 7 of Taliban fighters and 1 fighter named Norzai from NRF killed.” A resident said to me

With the kind of treatment India has recieved from the West, I call B.S. on this one. No country that values human rights leaves behind working military gear in tens of thousands for terrorists.

In US eyes they are not terrorists, are they?

Taliban is not on US designated terror watch list.

Hypocrite US.

Fu*kers couldn't have thrown some thermite on that instrument panel? Couldn't have dropped a grenade in the turboprop? Bast@rd Americunts.
.
Should have put thermite on a bulkhead, would have destroyed the airframe. It would have been as good as dead. USKMKB
Do you still think America "abandoned" the equipment, not "gifted" them?
