If you mean they would have preferred a method with lesser collateral damage, then buoy o buoy, they have downed commercial airliners to eliminate a target of their interest(Air India flight carrying Bhabha). Again, there could have been 'cleaner' ways to eliminate but that may not even be a consideration.
in the condition biden adminstration was in..they couldnt wait for a window or a later time. The situation room would have been like inside of a pressure cooker then.
Lesser collateral damage would take time and even days..and with hours passing by USA was losing its capacity for information from inside Afghan as every thing was going total disarray. IMO the strike of such was political than tactical.

soooo.. they worked on something which they thought was `credible` under pressure from administration.

Almost all of their Drone operations in the urban areas were on the residential compounds of these terrorists and had 'collateral damage'. Pretty sure that 'children' live in residential complexes. Nothing new for them.

1.This being their former asset who for all purposes was still allied with them makes this different. Blowing him up with his children adds to it in this scenario where it's being touted as a retribution for loss of American soldiers. This was not an operation on bumfuck middle of nowhere where children die by the dozens.

2. Conspiracy theory not worth the electrons you used to send this message.

There is no such thing as 'middle of nowhere'- its their fucking homes where they get killed by these 'self-respecting intelligence agencies'. Shit happening in Kabul doesn't make it any more special.

And wishful denial isn't worth the dopamine you get calling these scumbags 'self-respecting intelligence agencies mindful of dying children in Kabul'

Biden could be under pressure for a retaliation to save his face and ass.
Them, US got false info and went for it...killed civvies (probably)
biden got double whacked.

Well good old fog of war to blame ;)
That's what I was saying: false info probably. But we have a chap here claiming muricans murdered this guy in the middle of City with his kids deliberately. As if they didn't have enough on their plate already now.

Yeah there is. For one outsiders have more access to a city to get more details.

Wishfully denial? Why the fuck would I "wishfully" deny muricans mistakes?

And what action would entail with 'outsiders' getting 'more details'??? Same as bombing FATA in Pak, or a city in Iraq- Zilch
Outside agencies have better assets in city than in bumfuck nowhere?

Self-respecting agencies don't blow up planes??
Self respecting agencies don't jeopardize other operations or draw unwanted attention to any single operation. They have done both here.

Muricans never get anything right
1. They elected Biden as President.
2. They chose wrong partners for fight against terrorism - Pakistan
3. They allowed China to become factory of the world
:hehe:

China became factory of the world. Not a lot US could do about that.

1. Electing Trump as their President was the best thing they did to their country (if you look from their perspective)
2. Actually It was solely USA's fault in letting China become the Factory of the world. Those Chinis werent even able to produce quality steel.

Wait for it, for 20 years the Americans have prevented more bloodsheds in Afghanistan. Now that they're gone, look at how quickly Afghans will slit each others throat. But that's okay, as long as the Muricans are not doing it...

And I'm exhited to see how crazy Afghanistan without the American cowboys will affect India, China and Russia... :bplease:
Indian and Afghanistan has shared borders long before Columbus set off to find India. So dont worry. We will be fine.

US has paid the cost of trusting Taliban. Although it's just image related and most probably adminstration wont care.
