My biggest concern about the growing calls to sanction Pak is that these idealistic liberals (who dominate MSM narratives outside of Fox) will content themselves with calling to sanction Pak with some mild sanctions that won't do shit (cuz of China, Turkey bailing them out and possibly Russia trying to undercut the US) as if it was some super intelligent policy. Its really sad to see 13 serviceman sacrifice their lives for saving their fellow citizens and many more vets who also where their in kabul helping to evacuate their afghan friends got killed in yesterday bombing . Don't just count the uniformed deaths count other civilian US citizens also as 100 % of them are Vets which is really really sad to return back to the land they had left after leaving service and come back to help their friends and getting blown into pieces by car bomb .

Also i feel this could have been completely avoided if muricans didn't orchestrate the collapse of ANA ANDSF by pulling the critical support in final days of their fight with taliban and letting big cities fall without much resistance .

If kabul was still under afghan govt it would have been ANDSF who would be manning the gates of airport rather american soldiers who got killed . If they had helped ANDSF by now still tali bunnies would be fighting them in kandhahar or mazar i sherif rather than moving into streets of kabul , which would have given all US forces civilian to getting evacuated easily by september .
