The Afghan Civil Aviation Authority says the US military stationed at Kabul airport last night destroyed radar equipment, communications systems, part of the runway, lanterns, holding areas and flight control systems.
It is also reported that aviation was used to destroy objects that could not be blown up from the ground.
It was these explosions that were heard after the terrorist attack in Kabul, which was then confirmed by the Pentagon.
The total damage is estimated at 18 million euros.
The destruction of military and special equipment was carried out on the eve of the complete withdrawal of troops from the Kabul airport.
