Why would Iranians have sympathy for the Afghans who under influence of USA blocked flow of Helmand river into Iran which had a devastating effect in its economy and water security? Iran's economy is already stressed and influx of refugees isn't going to make anything better.

I have read few Iranians many years ago. They hate Afghans. Not too sure if things have changed now.

Yeah we might see an uptick in flight bookings from India's most ejukated state for Turkish airways flights to one of Afghanistan's neighbouring country.
