Only 1 failed state on our Western front, sooner or later we will have to face the threat. Despite all steps being taken to avoid conflict, it's only a matter of time. Hopefully time is bought to consolidate the forces and industrial might.

You are lucky that you are not at Kabul right now otherwise you would also be abandoned by your Government.

We did not evacuate this parliamentarian from Kabul, she came from Istanbul and has been deported back.

Happens a lot. The weather in SE England was nice here earlier this week. There is a nice beach a couple of miles from where I live on the south coast. I was so surprised to see a video of a boat land on the beach, a load of people get out and walk up the beach past the holidaymakers lying on the beach! Do they merit asylum? Probably. Do they merit asylum in England? I would say no. They will have passed through a number of countries to get to the north coast of France, where they will have paid a large sum to people traffickers to make the last leg of their journey to England.

The Afghan MP is cherry picking asylum, isn't she? I see no reason why she should not have been deported from India back to Turkey.

If I am not wrong IAF is flying sorties of C17 and C130J daily along with civilian aircrafts, despite that only 565? If I am not wrong, a C17 in its full capacity can carry 600 odd people.

You are lucky that you are not at Kabul right now otherwise you would also be abandoned by your Government.

My government is not evacuating cats and dogs. A plane was chartered at no cost to the UK govt to evacuate the Afghan personnel and animals of an animal charity . Check your facts before criticising!

By the way I find the interest in a few animals somewhat inappropriate, given what is happening in Afghanistan.
