He anticipated that AFG will fall to Taliban, but not that soon. He was dependent on 90 days timeline as quoted/misquoted by US Intel.
That's shocking, why were we relying on some other countries intel, when Afghanistan is in our neighborhood. The only thing, one had to guess was how long it would take the Afghan government to fall.

New from Panjshir is that , Taliban received setback .

These guys beat women and kill unarmed people for propaganda. When encountered with real resistance they chickened out.

Panjshir will fall without external help. I saw their militias and ANA combines forces. They are up against not less than Pakistan army.

Taliban gave 4 hour ultimatum and lost close to 300 fighters the first day.
I think resistance knows the limitations of the Taliban and playing as per their strengths.

Just like how we relied on Russian intel when China was doing exercises and amassing troops near Ladakh.
We did not 'rely' on Russian intel(we already knew the Chinese were there in strength), we trusted Chutin's repeated assurance that the Chinese were there on a picnic and would go back after cleaning up the camp site. Well, cleanup they did and vacate? Well most.

Either ways, the joke is on us because we always let a 'turd party' force our decision which goes against our short/long term strategic interests.

Babudom has repeatedly played a partisan role in making an ass out of ruling governments, NDA in particular.

No this happens when you don't formulate policies according to your national security and economic perspectives but based on an ideological mission.

Pakistan never cared about it's strategic interests and dreams to be a successful nation unlike India does. They are on ideological voyage of islamiyat and their only requisite condition is to truffle along and live today to fight another day.
Indians for their part love to argue and 'dissent' to a fault. Many Indians are too detached from the country/nation. To the extent that real empathy for people defending the country in Kashmir and elsewhere is absent. Or for terror victims. And then there are Indians/persons of Indian origin who feel brave and tough by standing up to the "Hindu nationalists", because they know they can't do much against Islamists globally. So they take the easy path of denouncing the Hindu groups who they like to blame for starting most of the problems.

Seriously man, never understood how can there be so much goof up? The army/ ITBP patrols, satellite imagery, UAVs- none could spot the build-up and the erection of permanent structures while they were being built up??? Or we were just not looking in that direction
