I dont know much about him, but why is he suspicious ? In the past he has pursued ISI and Al-Queda links and published a book on the subject too.

Maybe the intentions of Saleh and Massoud Jr. are pure, but Henri is suspicious. He seems to be a CIA minion. For one, he is one of the most prominent neoconservatives in France.

He first played a major role in pitting and supporting Kosovo against Serbia. He was also one of the more prominent voices calling for intervention in Libya to overthrow Gadaffi. After that, called for military invasions in Syria to overthrow Assad and in Iran as well.

Last year, met Svetlana Tikhanovskaia and gave his support to the liberals who oppose Lukashenko. His ultimate goal is "to impose an open society, LGBT-friendly and mixed society in the Belarusian dictatorship."

A Far-left secularist, calling for multiple regime changes and a Jewish ZIONIST at that? Rings alarm bells. This screams CIA asset all over it. Like I said, considering his actions and beliefs, I don't think Massoud Sr. would have wanted to be associated with this guy.

Resistance has more chances because they are highly motivated, doing it for a cause not for money, are well trained and using Russian weapons which are simple to maintain and use compared to American stuff which is useless in Afghan terrain.

have seen two interviews of afghan sikh member of parliament who came to India on evacuation flight yesterday.

both of them are avoiding bad mouthing taliban even when loaded questions are asked of them. This lady MP Anarkali Kaul is saying some bad actors are doing crimes in the name of taliban.

Not All Indians or Sikhs are out of Taliban control, that might be the reason for this control and who knows they have property there which they might try to reclaim later.

From what I have read Henri Levy is Senior Massoud's close friend and his main contact with western world during Taliban resistance movement pre 9/11. Even Massoud Jr. in his recent WaPo op-ed article talked about how Henri Levy motivated his father's troops (in a cave in the panjshir valley) to fight against Taliban in 1998.
