Russia is fully in support of the talibs. The way Russia has hurt India's interests directly, we need to be very careful how we handle them in future.

Uzbeks and Tajiks wont go full monty in supporting Northern alliance but they have complusion to help help them due to ethnic reasons. Russia is openly siding with Taliban for now but in case tide is turned against taliban they can backdoor to NA through those countries. Putin is victorious in both the scenarios.
We should also act selfish and try to secure our interests without caring for what others are suggesting or doing.

Also, US has no reason to support the Northern alliance.. The Northern alliance dominating the north will work very well for Russia. WHY would US want to make life easier for Russia, when it was Russia supporting the Taliban..

The most the Panjshir Guys can do now is to capture some territory around Panjshir.. Almost all Afghan territory and border crossings will be in the hands of the Taliban.. India should rather ping Taliban factions with close ties to TTP, and develop a relationship with them.. Let Northern Afghanistan be russia's to worry..
