if one were to look for positive side of things in this whole Afghanistan episode, cooperation/coordination between Marxist democrats & Islamist taliban did ensure there was no excessive violence, no blood letting on the streets, no damage to property during regime takeover. Afghans hanging on to C-17 was the only “out of control” event that has happened so far.

by extension which means Marxists are ok with chronic blood letting on the streets as per sharia post taliban takeover but not acute blood letting during regime change.

another aspect is that all information coming out of Afghanistan is from Kabul, hardly any verified information is coming from outside of Kabul. And in Kabul, taliban are behaving “very responsibly” for the cameras.
