I disagree with you on this. If situation in Afghanistan has revealed anything to the world is the cowardly nature of America. They have backstabbed their allies so many times its not even funny anymore. South Vietnam, Shias in Iraq, Kurds in Syria, and latest victim Afghanistan.

Anyone who trusts their national security on Americans at this point is blind to reality. If Americans won't protect Afghanistan agaist some rag tag terror group and run away like cowards what makes anyone think they will face full might of a nuclear armed nation with second most powerful military on earth?

The moment China attacks Taiwan, Americans will be first ones to evacuate. Their president will say its not our fight and issue some BS sanctions. Behind the doors they will make a deal with chinese and business will go back as usual.

If Taiwan or Japan are serious about their national security they should start developing their own military capability against China including Nuclear.
Agree with the Nuke capabilities for Taiwan and Japan. (I like to think that Japan already has, they are meticulous motherchuckers)

History tells us a lot about future
All invasion that came to india were all from West . 3 prominent place of collecting troops for invasion was
1) kabul
2) lahore
3) sirhind (thanks to banda bahadur he burned it down in 1710).
These 3 places were prominent stop for invading army for recruit army for invasion of India
Almost all the time invaders were afghans and these porki(that time Punjabis) got side role of reinforcing that invading army with men and ammunition.
How many punjabi tribes are there in Mughal army?

I think it is the British who started recruiting from Punjab.

Speaking of Punjab
It is amazing to me as to how the Sikh empire prospered
Sikh empire at it's zenith had 20% Sikhs and Hindus and rest 80% Muslims
Yet, it was doing a lot better than Mugayls and rest of libercunts favourite dynasties

They were stopping them because they might be the staff of the organisation maintaining the historic site of Lahore Fort, and they might get fired for incompetence, else Maharaja Singh sahab is considered a Muslim genocider in Porkistan,
It doesn't matter who they are, people who live in a glass house shouldn't throw stones at others

The only reason Japan is not implementing their nuclear program is because of the US. Apparently, they still believe they are at war with Japan.

Japan is a true anomaly. All the other Great Powers went nuclear decades ago, the once-and-no-longer great, such as France; the never-will-be great, such as North Korea. There are nukes in the hands of Pakistan, which overnight could turn into an al-Qaeda state, and North Korea, a country so massively deranged that it reports that the "Dear Leader" shot five holes-in-one in his first time playing golf and also wrote six operas. Yet America is plagued by doubts about Japan's joining this club.

Japan is not just a model international citizen -- dynamic economy, stable democracy, self-effacing foreign policy -- it is also the most important and reliable U.S. ally after only Britain. Japan has to decide for themselves, not depend on America like its leaders have been all these years. Pyongyang's nukes, after all, are pointed not west but east.

Not 80% Muslims, Ranjit Singh actually put a check on Islamic radicals.
Ranjit Singh fought against the foreign values and invaders.

A lot of Afghans onboard. Seems like we brought home those who helped us.
Swedes and Dutch who give us HR diktat should hang their heads in shame. Bloody hypocrites.

I think we are giving the will of US politicians and deepstate more credit than they deserve for standing up to China. The country and its people are pretty self centered, and right now the whole nation is embroiled with white terrorism bogey LGBT BLM and the next woke shit that comes along, along with their favorite punching boy, Trump. The ability to stand up for something and to exercise physical might to enforce their will is not something the general American populace cares about, atleast not the way they used to back in the 60s, 70s and 80s. Even their leftists of the 70s would put the current RW to shame.
Yup, America is like Alcoholics Anonymous and it's about to hit rock bottom. Their people vote based on who makes "nasty tweets" and who makes polite tweets. Foreign policy matters next to nothing for them. They are satisfied as long as they receive welfare benefits and more and more freebies.

The Same "Maharaja" Ranjit Singh had muslim generals in his army
Radicalism only tripples down from the top, a strong and fierce leader who can instill fear, and by instilling fear I mean making people wet their pants, can only stop this radicalism

The moment Hooman rights musings starts you lose an (counter) Insurgency Battle, as you pointed out
Russians are brutal, Brutality made them effective
Russians have actually sobered down a little in modern days, nothing like the Soviet-Afghan war. That probably explains why they had more success than Americans. A lot of terrifying things happened when their Army was there.

For a hindu living there its no less than a battlefield, everyone fights their battle in their own way, sometimes a hero dies so that a hundred more can be inspired to take up the fight.
Wish I could share your optimism. What will likely happen is that poor chap will die a horrible death and the so-called hundreds more of yours will simply melt away at the dead of night. I'm all for spending a life for a worthwhile cause but this ain't it, rather it's simply a waste.

The thning people easily pass of is the fact that irregulars are difficult to eliminate, in a conventional fight you know who is the commander, the general or the assets, in insurgents case they are civilians (Imran Khan is not wrong when he says they are ordinary civilians with guns) with guns and can give up those guns anytime they feel they can be caught and then they can reengage once they thinks it’s wise to. USA has defeated every regular army with whom they fought, take any insurgency around the world as example, Russians seemingly have better capabilities in fighting irregulars (Chechnya, Iraq, Syria).
The same Imraan khan who takes U turns consistently?

If that is the case how come US stayed in Afghanistan for 20 years. The news is Ghani made a deal and implemented it to prevent bloodshed.
