Ahmed Masoud (son of legendary anti-Taliban Northern Alliance leader Ahmed Shah Massoud) says he is very much in his hometown Panjshir, rejects reports that he fled from Afghanistan. https://t.co/nyILQYzZsu
Kid is in Panjshir, let's see. what he wants
Looks like he is visiting his father's grave

Why did india invest 3 billion dollars in making schools colleges hospitals roads dams and other basic infrastructure in Afghanistan is something which I still don’t understand
One way to look at this...it was mutually beneficial.

The contracts for this infra building went to our companies. They gained experience in foreign projects in a challenging environment, and it also generated quite a few jobs. Companies like TATA power did a few projects there, Govt companies like WAPCO built the Salma dam. The parliament building was built by an Andhra construction company, which employed many people from Andhra and Telegana. These projects can now be shown off while bidding for other projects in foreign countries. Plus It was also useful for Afghan people and helped build trust and a good image.

Its not like we totally handed over cash and got nothing from it.

Any book on Indian collab with Ahmed mansoor?
Ahmad shah masood died in one of hospital of Indian base in Tajikistan.
In 1997 when he asked for RPG-7 ammunition from india. Traitor Indian prime minister ik gujral refused to supply rpg rounds to him. He also said that Afghanistan is porkistan baby.
Ahmad shah Masood fought on his own. Both the bases in Tajikistan used to have transport helicopters for treatment for masood fighter. This was only purpose of having base in Tajikistan in order to support lion.every other theory on bases is rubbish

Others have answered well, just adding to that, C130/C17s are modular and can be optimized according to mission requirements. Old soviet IL-76s are not so great and forward-thinking.

IMO if we had 2 more squadrons of C17s we could have captured PoK with our airdrop capability. Alas Khangressi traitors delayed it and now the supply lines are closed.

Wait, these standing people aren't refugees/MEA. Garud ?
C-17 production line was line functioning well into the BJP term also.

Infact Boeing had given multiple warnings that they were shutting down the lines and therefore orders needed to be given.

Unfortunately neither the previous govt nor this govt bothered with the issue.

Didn’t the program shut down in 2013? Or was it 2011?

I knew it
I fkking knew it
These chutadhs are going to disclose more than they need to by pasting photos of people across the world.

Instead of 10 people knowing about their presence, a million will know.

Now people are asking 'What were Nepali origin people doing in Afghanistan'?

TBH, none of these pictures should've gone public.

Where do you see "Nepali" ?

Also, IAF invited press inside Jamnagar AF Station and took them to the C17. Garuds are posing for pictures, can't hide that, can we?

Taliban spokeperson has asked india to return and continue incomplete projects . But before that we need to wait and see wht exactly going on .

There was an inside pic of a C-17 shared yesterday or the day before.

Should be avoided imo. Garuds have been posing for pictures from their first 'appearance' at Aero India. That is not a problem. Khair, each to their own.
