US, India tried to topple Taliban govt before 9/11 ever happened

American journalist and author in a blasting confession has revealed that the United States of America had planned to topple Taliban govt way before 9/11 happened? So was the 9/11 a reaction against this US operation?

PS - Robin Raphel was weally weally charmed by ISI paki boys & their suleimani in the old days but very recently has realised her mistake.

Is it possible though?

I had written about these a weeks back but that was before the disastrous fall of northern provinces to the taliban.

Even the far away districts like badakhshan which were never conquered in the 90s have been taken over with relative ease.

It will be very difficult to pawan a insurgency in occupied land.
The rapidity of Taliban advance has stunned everyone. India, and a number of players had anticipated that it would be around 6 months to a year post US departure before Afghan forces start collapsing. Obviously we were wrong. And now we are scrambling to set up a resistance all the while working with Afghan government to ensure they hold out as long as is possible.

The North has to be secured first from Taliban advances to create strategic space for mobilization of militia. For that we need to induct Uzbek and Tajik Militia into the theatre. Hence the focus on these and other CE Asia countries. Any plan requires bodies that can be thrown at the problem. How do you convince these countries to send their militia into Afghanistan? What about a blowback for them, one from the taliban, one from China-Pak, and finally from radicalization within their societies?

Finally, Russia is treading very carefully this time. They do not want to be involved militarily, and do not have the stomach to support another insurgency. There is also a more fundamental question, none of these countries trust India all that much. India is seen as someone who likes to keep itself clean, avoiding direct military support. Essentially these countries doubt India's stomach and will to take the confrontation to its conclusion, and doubt its ability and willingness to shed blood for the cause.

Talking to ‘under treatment wounded Taliban’ n Karachi, Mullah Biradar says: Whatever we say in Doha talks, we say after the approval of “leadership here” in #Pakistan.

In the very city, elected MNA & HR activist #AliWazir is jailed for speaking out against “the use of proxies”.

Yup it seems russia has already rejected any sort of military tie up.

Well well what can i say our reactive and non responsive nature is finally affecting our position in the global world.
