I guess the troop surge is to secure the bottled water supplies at Kabul airport as the Americans don't seem to show much stomach for a fight.
In modern day combat, all foreign powers engage in war crimes, but the Americans have always been hesitant to wage total war. The Soviets, for example, were ruthless, absolutely RUTHLESS when they were fighting in Afghanistan, committing all kinds of war crimes imaginable.

Nowadays, the Amriki troops do not have any actual morale or even will to fight wars, especially in Afghanistan, much less shoot and kill ordinary people. Consequently, you see them lying like this. Disillusioned and defeated.

Go through this thread really you will know the reason behind this mess.

Highly recommended.

Did I have a reason to worry? This is the text someone sent me:

“Taliban come to <area> and were looking for you. They were asking about Ajmal Ahmady DAB Governor.”

Whatever their personal views, I also had many personal enemies. Or maybe they just wanted to greet me

Iraq...Afghan..same difference

Afghanistan cant be compared with Iraq or Syria, Iraq and Syria dont have much rugged terrain where American fire power and awesome technologies can prevent their defeat, Further US Deep State will not relent on middle east as they did in Afghanistan. Despite launching hundreds of sucide attacks and car bombings, Insurgents in Iraq have failed to defeat Americans.

His funda was simple
>Appease the crap out of liberals
>Get votes and get into power
>Fix shit up with Iran
>Get a Nobel peace prize like Osama...ahhm sorry.....Obama
>Leave the office to someone else, (Commiela Harris)
>Go back to sniffing children in some resorts paid by average American taxpayer

We know that
We just don't give shit

Out off Afghanistan

In POK
It's un charted territory its alien terrain for Them
There fate will be same like local jihadi or even worse

India is veteran in its own territories
Has well stabilized mechanism to deal with such things
These pastuns came in 1947 and 1965 and
Were Slaughtered like pigs

Best they can do Suicide attacks
At best

Nothing we are not able to tackle
Yes cost will be get high both in material and in Human resources.

Pakistan military is sitting In pok for Decades
Without moving un inch.

Material and in Human Resources this is what Pakistan wants to achieve through Jihadists while their regular army will do salami slicing of territories just they did in kargil, Mujahedeen will strike rear areas of Indian army. If we had been proactive and not caring about vote bank politics and vaporized Pakistan posts along LOC.

But again we have secular politicians who think everything through vote bank politics. There is a lot to think and debate about the way to capture POK. If we are proactive we should increase the cost for Pakistan for sponsoring terrorism in India,

US troops return to Afghanistan as regime disintegrates
The ostensible purpose of these operations is the evacuation of US and British personnel from Afghanistan, what the Pentagon classified as a “Noncombatant Evacuation Operation” or NOE. How long they will remain deployed in the war-torn country has not been disclosed. Their mission, however, is undoubtedly part of a desperate bid to forestall, at least temporarily, the Taliban’s taking of Kabul.

was trying to find who used this phrase "Afghan-led, Afghan-owned process" first anywhere in the world, the earliest i could find is by GoI in Jul 2010. If anyone comes across this phrase prior to Jul 2010 anywhere other than GoI, do let me know.

=============
United Nations Security Council (UNSC) Press Statement says it calls for immediate end to violence in Afghanistan and talks for Afghan-led, Afghan-owned process of national reconciliation. UNSC reaffirmed importance of combating terrorism in Afghanistan.

I don't know much about geo-politics of this, regarding who supports talibaan or not.

But this incident, in this very information age will have a serious impacts. People used to think terror orgs as someone who kills innocent and gets killed like pigs but here we are seeing a terrorist organisation forming a government and entire generation generation is watching. Every mullafied tom dick and Harry has a success story to stick to. The impact of words of those maulvis are going to be much more. Because defending Islam does not mean living in caves anymore. Its much attractive now. This is the soft impact. Media will also play its part.

I think China is the only stakeholder in all this. They control porks and almost Russians. and Russia in turn has a say in central Asia.

And yeah no Muslims(apart from negligible percentage) is not interested in any form of human rights, women rights or anything, no matter how sophisticated, well to do, well educated they are.

Is bhosdi waale ko Taliban m divinity dikhti h or lodu ko un terrorists ko Mangal Pandey se compare kr rha h ese gaanduo ko saala Afganistan hi deport kr dena chaiye lodu aadmi.

He saying divinity in the rise of Taliban is based on a so called prophecy that end of times is nearing.
An army shall rise from khorason (area Afghanistan) so mullah hyderi is Sharia compliant to his belief. Navika is missing the point.

I spoke with People's Republic of China State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi concerning developments in Afghanistan and our respective efforts to bring both our citizens home safely.

And someone was whining when Indo-Russian bilateral statement said 'multipolar world'. Lol.
I am loving these shameless cucks sucking upto the Chinis.

Lol what are they doing since 1989
Has it yield any results

You think Indian security apparatus is weak
We survived the deadly 90's when we were in our lowest in economic terms

What was the some result of kargil war
I think taliban was in power in kabul even back then
What did that achieve ??

You think there's ragtag militia can offer better resiatance today in a modern era and can insurgency propects.

Pakistan army doesn't have the Balls to do shit
Salami slicing is dream

They will practically loose POK if they did any mis adventure because it will be raised to full scale
War in minutes

Even If the entire taliban
Which is around 80,000 comes to The valley they can practically Acheive shit on the ground
Which is impossible logistically and statergically

Afghanistan has changed many equations
With USA out of the equation
India has all options to raise stakes for Pakistan

If Pakistan will even think of such adventure it will
A nightmare for them
The things will be move forward in hours
Practically another Indo pak war.

Situation Afghanistan is good for us finally our military machinery will wake up from slumber of two decades.
