The first three years were partially due to Obama's idealism of being friends with everyone. As for Trump, he initially went in wanting to denuclearize Pakistan. As for why he didn't commit, no one knows. But i'm guessing that is due to saudi influence (economically arabs don't give a fuck about Pakistan, btu militarily and ideologically, it's a good breeding ground for the wahabi elite to create jihadists and they want their nuclear weapons stockpile). Also even though US didn't need Pakistan, they probably made it easier.Americans had enough chances to Punish Pakistan from 31-12-2014 to 15-08-2021, Moment US Troops Surge ended in 2013, supply lines from Pakistan were no longer required, equipment and logistics, But still Americans chose not to punish Pakistan? The million dollar question is why? Trump at least got Pakistan into FATF but other presidents chose other wise.
