No i didn't mean that, i just felt that our governent had basic communication with the Taliban, not showing off anything.

In 2017, one our top thinktank lady visited Afg and had meeting with vice president of its government. The officers from the Afg government complaint that India put more real money and projects in the country but China just anounced the OROB plan and put very little real investment there.

And then the lady from thinktank went back home and publically blamed the centeral government on SNS for lossing the competition on supporting Afg versus India.

Will be interesting to see how Russia tackles this. Kowtowing to china can only do so much. Throwing money and drugs at Kadyrov can only do so much. With taliban active now how long can jehad in Russia be postponed. Though Russia/USSR has great record of neutralizing islam and to give them more of a Russian identity. But you cant deal with Taliban officially, ergo legitimizing them and then continuing crusade against islam at home. Also you have to deal with ex soviet countries, who are obviously worried about taliban. If Russia accepts Taliban they will have to accept too.

As for China, dealing with Taliban wont be so easy. If they think china is screwing them they will put a gun to your head unlike pakistan. Also while China is giant in terms of economy but its military capability is subpar and also handling faultlines and terrorism. Russia otoh has mil, terrorism exp, capability, but is stretched thin economy wise. We are okay in terms of military, handling faultlines, also doing okay in terms of economy but need to do more. And all three countries have a reputation of being anti muslim, whether true or false(false in our case). Now all three countries have to deal with taliban. And the mastermind of all this is fleeing kabul today.

Gotta say, this works well for US. This will have very little repercussions on Amrika, me thinks. Ppl bring up how embarrassing it is, compare it to saigon. I would certainly use the term less Barbaric because of few things which the Americans did in Afghanistan

1) Use of fire power: Americans could have rained MOAB Bombs and other cluster bombs and decimated half of Afghanistan populations but they chose not to do? at least because of Human Rights people at home.

2) Americans tried to keep women and Children out of harms way in Afghanistan out of harms way. For example take OBL Raid, any other special forces would have killed, Osama's wives and children in a similar raid. But US Navy seal team did not kill Osama's young children, One of Osama's wife was shot in the leg because of her threatening move. Killing of Osama's son khalid is justified because he fired at US Navy seal.s

3) Russians Pillaged everything in Afghanistan, I feel that is correct, That is how a war should be fought against these terrorists, But Americans did not destroy villages or homes.
