What is the difference between the two?

DS (Directionally Solidified) blades have much lower creep resistance because of the existence of grain boundaries. Single-crystal blade is, as the name suggests, a single grain. Meaning no grain boundaries and much higher creep resistance. This leads to turbine blades made out of a single crystal having a bit higher operating temperature than DS blades, which directly leads to higher thrust from the same engine.

Exercises with MKI will impart valuable experience to RAAF pilots in understanding & tackling Flanker tactics. They'll need to do so if they plan on facing PLAAF at some point in the future, which also operates large numbers of Flankers in various configurations.

Similar training will soon be done with JASDF as well:

The drill will give Japan's fighter pilots the experience of going head-to-head with the Su-30, variants of which are flown by China and Russia, too.

Well, that’s hard to prove but I got the sense that they were insinuating that an SU-30 was somehow missing into thin air. Clearly a Pakistani fantasy just like 90% of their fake kills.

It’s obvious HAL owns at least 1 SU-30MKI for integration of weapons and after searching there are 10 MKI crashes and not 8 or 11.

I am not sure whether they can be converted to Growler Configuration, but I believe that they can ,we could theoretically Turn couple of our SU 30 MKI's into growler Configuration. Honestly speaking, we definitely should turn couple of Our SU 30 MKI into Dedicated EW variants.

Don't take Pakistanis too Seriously Buddy ,They are taught in their Schools That they Won all the Wars Against India. They believe that the wreckage of an aircraft the Size of a SU 30 MKI can go unnoticed in country like India where there is a High concentration of Population. Half of them say that JF 17 shot down The Mig 21 and Half of Them say that F-16 shot down MIG 21. Don't take them Seriously Sir. Have a nice day ahead.

That aircraft is growler, a dedicated fighter sized EW platform. Its high time for us to start an in house EW aircraft program. Like awacs, EW aircraft too will perform an important role in aerial warfare.

Yeah Man,I totally agree with you,even China has made a dedicated electronic Warfare Variant of one it's Flanker Aircrafts.We too Should do The same.We should start our own Project under which we can make an EW variant of SU 30 MKI by Developing inhouse|Indigenous EW sensors , Jamming Pod(I believe we have already made one already or we will be making one, not sure about it though).
