UEC engines lifted into the air third PAK FA

Двигатели ОДК подняли в воздух третий ПАК ФА / ОАО "Управляющая компания "Объединённая двигателестроительная корпорация" / Блоги о промы

Moscow. November 23, 2011. - Engines, developed and manufactured at the enterprises of "United Engine Building Corporation" (DCS), to ensure a successful flight of the third prototype of PAK FA.
November 22 engines produced at the enterprises belonging to the OJSC "United Engine-Building Corporation" - OAO "UMPO" and JSC "NPO" Saturn "- raised in the third sample sky promising aviation complex tactical aviation (PAK FA). Fighter spent in the air just over an hour. The mission was carried out, including evaluation of propulsion systems, which confirmed the inherent performance characteristics.
Thus, the "United Engine Corporation 'time is committed to providing the PAK FA new engines, which quality confirm the successful flights of fighters.
At present, enterprises UEC has completed over 16 engines for the fifth-generation fighter. Six products released for test bench, the others are designed for installation on aircraft.

The test flight lasted more than an experimental model of an hour. T-50 flew with and without landing gear and made some simple aerobatic figures. More complex flights will be engaged in the pilots aviatsentra Lipetsk combat use and re-training of flight personnel. After completing tests they have to learn not just promising aviation complex in the case, but also to prepare a kind of instruction manual for those who have yet to change seats at the helm of the new fighter

Five Russian T-50 test machine active phased array radar

According to the China National Defense Science and Technology Information Network reported that before the end of this year, active phased array radar installation of the third aircraft T-50 flight test program began testing machine.

August 15, Russia, designed by the OKB Sukhoi T-50 multi-purpose production of fifth generation fighter aircraft (Sukhoi PAK FA prototype) participate in the 2011 Moscow Air Show.

The radar is Russia's fifth generation fighter T-50 highly automated multi-functional integrated avionics system components, the test prototype in 2009 and 2011 on display at the Moscow air show.

Moscow in 2011 during the air show for the two T-50 active phased array radar prototype test bench by the Institute. Third active phased array radar test bench prototype passed this year, followed by the completion of transmitting - receiving test test machine installed in the third frame (T-50-3) on. At present, the future of the third front-line aviation aircraft system (PAK FA, that is, T-50-3) is the Amur - Komsomolsk aviation production association to prepare flight test. Expected, the T-50-3 flight test after the completion of several start-up radar, start debugging as a fighter avionics system consisting of radar equipment. Radar development staff did not hide their face in the process of development and application of state-owned electronic components related to difficulties in the production of the radar, especially in transmitting - receiving module production have greater difficulty.

Finally added, T-50 fighter highly automated multi-functional integrated avionics system consists of five radar, radar, and in front of it and other integrated onboard systems is a priority direction of research and testing. Active phased array radar itself has a variety of new modes, a lot of first time in domestic practice. (China Aviation Industry Development Research Center, Zhang Hui)

offtopic but

This pdf says that RusAF is going to order warplane derived from Su 30 MKI model on page 38:-

The Russian Defence Ministry is going to order in the near future from Irkut Corp. a batch of Su-30SM two-seat supermanoeuvrable multirole fighters derived from the Su-30MKI aircraft exported by the company. Irkut President Alexei Fyodorov told the media that a contract was in the pipeline for 28 aircraft for the Russian Air Force with 12 options that could be fielded with the air arm of the Russian Navy. The order is to be placed next year, but the Irkutsk Aircraft Plant is already making two first Su-30SMs intended to enter the test programme in the configuration approved by RusAF. According to Alexander Veprev, Director General, Irkutsk Aircraft Plant, the two Su-30SM prorotypes will be able to launch their trials before year-end

Great work anshu , love your updates on the pakfa.

Finally Knappo started uploading HD pictures of the pakfa which is great , with 3 prototypes the test flight timing will increase i guess t50-4 and t50-5 will take a while to come now and expect more config changes in it .

Tested third prototype PAK-FA

(Airforce Technology, Airforce Technology, en.rian.ru, World Affairs Board)

Russian company Sukhoi implemented within the development program for future tactical fighter fifth generation PAK-FA (Perspektivnyj Aviacionnyj complex Frontovoj Aviaciji - prospective aviation complex frontline Air Force) built a third prototype T-50, which is already subjected to flight tests.

The Russian news agency RIA Novosti reported that the flight test program is doing to implement the tests much faster than originally expected. The third flying prototype proves it. It is expected that this modern combat aircraft will be introduced into the arms of the Russian Air Force in 2015, which is to replace combat aircraft MiG-29 and Su-27.

The third prototype is already equipped with new avionics and radar system unique SH121, which contains three fully synchronized radars with stationary flat-phased antenna and electronic scanning (AESA category) operating in the frequency X-band (8-12 GHz). One of them is installed in the nose and the remaining two sides of the aircraft. Their synchronized activity allows virtually omni-directional scanning and evaluation of the situation around the airplane and simultaneously to the same extent, guide missiles. Furthermore, it is equipped with very sophisticated and sensitive optoelectronic sensors and high-precision passive surveillance / tracking system. Analysts say that the PAK-FA is the counterpart of U.S. fighter aircraft F-22 Raptor and F-35 Lightning II, but some sensors and electronics PAK-FA are still largely unknown.

Recent tests in aircraft production facilities in Komsomolsk KnAAPO the Amur are aimed at verifying the stability of the airplane in various flight modes, power generators and operational reliability of the entire electrical system to ensure supply of sophisticated electronic and sensor systems.
